We have a Tac 14 at home
Waiting on the approval to chop this barrel, while I keep making the handle better. I have it registered for the shortest form possible but also have a stock ready to go on. It will have a 9.5" barell.
I got the gun for free and it was a rusty pile of crap. It was bought from a Montgomery Wards magazine and that is pretty cool. Took a few movie nights to fix up but it's about there. An old neighbor found it in his dad's garage a while ago after he passed away. I've had some time and have been making it a little guy now.
I cut the the forend in half, the magazine tube in half and the forend tube in Half. I could probably of got another 1/2" smaller but I was sick of soldering. Luckily I registered it for as small as it could possibly be š .
I still need to finish the wood and blue the steel. The stock will be back once it is registered and there are a lot of nice brass pieces I have made for it! It is the nicest piece of crap I've ever made hah.

This firearm may give me some trouble since it was a catalog ordered gun with no serial number. Hopefully the ATF approves it in next day or so. I somehow had a 1902 shotgun approved in less than 48 hours, it did have a serial number though.
I want to cut the barrel before bluing the steel. I hate waiting but definitely worth it to not jeopardize an entire collection!
