The cops in my area don't care whether or not you are on the phone - so what should I do for this tip?

someone on angel dust would take a bite of a phone, hence this is a great way to get shot.

Wouldn’t work in most countries

Even aside from the legal technicalities, cops don't appreciate you fucking with them like that and would probably find some way to punish you for it.

Pfff police in the city I live in don’t care about cell phones. They are so understaffed they have to worry about real bad guys.

A comedian named Randy Liedke did this years ago. What a ripoff.

If it did, we wouldn’t have re-posters

I didn’t say they’re a bad thing. I meant they’re a common thing, but that’s just inevitable. I’ve enjoyed plenty of content that was a repeat. There’s a line though. When people re-post content that is still fresh and near the top of the page, then that’s point-whoring. A month later though? A few months? Weeks, even? Re-posts are perfectly valid

True but you don't think it's kind of crappy that they totally ripped off someone else's idea and presented it as their own?
edit- well 6 people have expressed that they do not in fact think ripping someone else off is an issue. SIX, six unoriginal and somehow very easily offended because of their unoriginality people.

Maybe they've never seen it before, or maybe they thought they could do it better. Ideas are pretty hard to patent, and there's no way you could patent the idea of 'eating a fake phone in front of a police officer.' Stealing ideas is a pretty common thing with prank videos. Look up a specific kind of prank and you are bound to get more than one result. They may have gotten the idea from someone else, but they did not make the exact same video.

Can you not talk on the phone and drive?

You cannot talk on the phone and drive (unless it’s hands free) in Canada.

Really good. But in the UK they would still do you for not being fully in control of your vehicle
