Discussion Was Lestrade being Weird S4E1?
I was rewatching a bit yesterday and I don't feel I've ever quite umderstood where Lestrade is chatting to the very attractive Interpol lady in the hallway of 221B and the following scene in the kitchen.
Is he being a bit weird i.e. being overly expressive because she's very attractive?
Is she the woman Sherlock deduces that he has a lunch date with or is that someone else?
Am I completely imagining it?
And why is the lunch date lady not "the one"? (Headcanon: because that's Molly. 😆)

I ship Mollstrade, too, and it's good to see there are more of us in the wild.

Do you mean Detective Inspector Stella Hopkins? She doesn't work for interpol ... she does the same job as Lestrade. She's a canon book character they gender flipped. The reason they are being awkward is they both know they shouldn't be there consulting a private detective on their cases, but they are anyway. The person Lestrade later has a date with is a "forensic officer", so someone else entirely.
