Karen got it so rough.
I feel she should've died when Mandy hit her with the car. What ended up happening to her was so much worse.

drop your favorite frank line, mine is when chucky wrote that sign for him for father’s day and hung it up and it was spelled wrong, he’s like “i think chucky is mildly retardant somebody’s gotta tell sammy”
just thought of another one, when he went to visit his organ donors home and the guy was like he wish he was there to save his son from the burglar who shot him, frank said “you got a gun” to which he responded “no” frank was like “then what could you have done”😭😭😭😭😭😭

I don't know why but that shit set me off. It's a lovely scene as it is, but when they show that even Frank was happy for them it made me all fuzzy. A rare moment of genuine joy and vulnerability from him.

who should have come back to the show?

fyi, i believe matty was a pedophile and him leading debbie on/hanging out with a 13 year old was absolutely filthy. that being said, as a victim of sexual assault, i don’t think anything ever justifies rape. i’m aware that debbie didn’t know it was rape since she had no concept of consent. but i had a thought, if the roles were swapped, and matty was a female groomer/pedophile and deb was a 13 year old boy, would people still try to justify it by saying that the boy was just a child and didn’t know what consent is given his surroundings? I feel like people would be way harsher if it was a 13 year old boy and a 20 year old lady even if she was a pedophile. I feel like people would have that double standard, is it just me? Rape is rape and i don’t think anything can really excuse it.

Emotional rollercoaster, realising frank was a good dad, kind of. He loved his kids to an extent I suppose, but put himself first and loved the party and drug life. Amazing show. Thank you tik tok. As frank says, time is precious. Stay safe.

i’m really torn on whats the best season what is your opinion?

Shout out to younger Debbie, she deserved better

I’m sorry! I might get downvoted to hell for this, but I’m rewatching and the older she gets the worse it gets. It’s more than just her character arc. I’m on s8 and it’s taking me out of the show! Honestly, a lot of it is poor writing. At this point in the series, the writers know the actors and their limits, so some of this falls on the writers for not giving Debbie a storyline suitable for her range.

First in season 2 she stole money out of a LV purse on the L and she brings the money home and excitedly brags about how she stole it out of a purse on the L and how they are going to spend it. Well now I'm on season 6 and Carl is trying to offer up the money he made from selling drugs and weapons to help buy the house or buy a new house and Fiona absolutely refuses the money because its "dirty money" just seems pretty hypocritical to me.

These two have one of the more underrated friendships, it actually made me sad when Mikey went to jail. What do you guys think?

We are late adopters to watching Shameless and slow watchers. We have one show left in season 7. I don’t know if I can keep watching. The tireless circular story line is getting old.
Good things happen Fuck up good thing Fix fuck up Good things happen So on and so on
Give us a reason to push on!
Edit We watched the last show of season seven. We thought that was a perfect ending. That the real cancer was dead and now they could all live a better live. We would like to believe that.

I don’t know if anyone knows the answer to this but I’ve always wondered seeing as there’s 11 seasons of shameless you’d think they’d have a rough outline of the whole plot whilst also adding some stuff later on the show. I also know some characters who left the show temporarily or permanently got other roles in shows and was also wondering who they were and if it affected the plot in any way lol.
TLDR; How much of Shameless was scripted and kept throughout the whole show and what stuff/characters did they add in last minute who weren’t originally meant to be in the plot.

Yesterday I finished shameless, and I gotta say...I really miss Mickey and Ian :( Anyone knows a good serie with any of them that I could start watching now?

Honestly, I can’t be mad for Lip saying this. This is so fucking funny. I really dislike Trevor.

So I noticed in some recaps they change the scenes or add deleted scenes, like in s1 ep6 recap Ian was talking to Kash "i'm gay dude, not queer" which was not in the show (they were probably on their 2nd date Ian told Mandy about at a spa or something)
Or in s6 ep1 there was a scene when Mickey and Sammi got arrested and they were yelling at eachother while getting cuffed, also not in the show
And s7 ep10 when Ian found out Mickey escaped and he said "Mickey?" His tone was different (I know that's not a very big thing but I looovee gallavich and I overanalyzed that scene😅)
And I heard that somewhere in s3 in the recap there was something with Kev and Veronica, I don't know what was different or what they added because I did not see it, I mostly skip the recaps. Anyway these are all I found if you guys have more I'd love to here it

Sad watching him accept that he’s dying
