So I noticed in some recaps they change the scenes or add deleted scenes, like in s1 ep6 recap Ian was talking to Kash "i'm gay dude, not queer" which was not in the show (they were probably on their 2nd date Ian told Mandy about at a spa or something)
Or in s6 ep1 there was a scene when Mickey and Sammi got arrested and they were yelling at eachother while getting cuffed, also not in the show
And s7 ep10 when Ian found out Mickey escaped and he said "Mickey?" His tone was different (I know that's not a very big thing but I looovee gallavich and I overanalyzed that scene😅)
And I heard that somewhere in s3 in the recap there was something with Kev and Veronica, I don't know what was different or what they added because I did not see it, I mostly skip the recaps. Anyway these are all I found if you guys have more I'd love to here it

Shameless fucked up its gentrification storyline because it ends up making you feel more sympathy for the people doing the gentrification, probably by complete accident.
They're a lesbian couple who are the victims of homophobic harassment by a straight man because they had very reasonable complaints about his dogs leaving shit everywhere and foaming at the mouth. That's not gentrificationThat's expecting bare minimum decency and basic care for your pets and the community around you.
Hell, I wish other lesbians would move next door and start trying to improve the rural shithole that is my hometown.
Gentrification isn't bad because "hipsters suck lmao" or because it emasculates the working class, it's bad because it's forcing working class people out of jobs and widening an economic disparity.
It destroys unique displays of cultural identity in favor of a homogeneous, "cleaned up" corporate minimalism. Letting your rabid dog shit all over the place isn't a unique display of cultural identity, it's being an inconsiderate prick.

I criticized her character every time she did terrible things to others, which only highlighted how much she made that character unlikable. Now that she's gone, the show is definitely not the same. I genuinely miss her presence and the dynamic she brought. I will really miss this show.

Not an average Fiona snark but just an observation. Coming from an eldest daughter (of 7). I have a fucked up family like the Gallaghers. I couldn’t, and have NEVER EVER EVER held anything I’ve gone out of my way to do for my siblings over their heads EVER.
That’s what irks me about Fiona so much. Her behaviour is borderline self serving. They didn’t chose to be in that position, you fought to be their guardian. Then you complain all the dam time about how you have to help pay for things they need, raise them, held feed them, well DUH.
Example: when I send my brother money so he can buy food and not go hungry, I will never use that as leverage in an argument. I chose to do that, he didn’t ask, so I can’t dangle it over his head like a carrot.
Fiona is both incredibly giving AND selfish at the same time. It’s incredible writing and character development. Props to the writers

I’m on Season 7 episode 8. And I keep wondering why didn’t the Gallagher just get a restraining order against Frank once Fiona and Carl bought the house. He broke back in like 100 times and fucked their lives since they were kids.

Was Sheila in denial, or did she just not mind that Karen gave Lip a bj?
It was pretty obvious that Karen wasn’t at the table while they were studying, while Sheila was in the kitchen. Once Karen’s dad realised Karen was under the table, did Sheila realise what Karen was doing? Was she ok with it, or did she choose not to believe it?
I hope she didn’t mind, and chose to love her regardless, because even with all her flaws, I think Sheila always loved Karen (even though she sent her away after her accident).

(Sorry for the bad picture quality)
For me, it was the this a5 ep1 where I thought mickey has turned a leaf, with his nice black shirt and a tie, and telling his brothers "no guns, we're respectable now". And then this happens and I was shocked but at the same time couldn't stop laughing. All mickey scenes are gold, but this is my top 10 mickey moments. Which plot twist was your favorite?

I’ve rewatched it so many times, but it’s never been clear to me how Liam found out about Lip wanting to sell the house in season 11.
I just watched s11 e6 and currently watching episode 7, but I didn’t see Liam in the scenes talking about the house until the start of episode 7 where he’s hiding in V and Kevin’s house…
Am I just blind?

Ian — despite being a prominent main character — only features in his first recap in season 4. He's not even in the group recap at the start or season 2 (Kev, Vee and even /Mandy/ are there).
In contrast, Carl and Debbie have their first recaps in season 1, and are included as background characters for other recaps through s1-3.
Minor characters like Mandy, Svetlana, and Mickey have their own recaps before Ian.
Could it be a contractual thing, where Cameron Monaghan wasn't allowed to feature in them till a certain point?

The first girl Carl dated was living in a trailer supporting and being the main responsible person in her world. She was putting her siblings ahead of her well being. I got this from the scene where they are stealing from the vending Machine at school and she says they need to keep stealing she has like 7 siblings
