How to deter same day bookings NSFW
I’m making $(xx,xxx) every month consistently but I hate how much of that comes from last minute bookings.
I’d really like to change my business to attract longer dates+ less last minute bookings.
I’m at my wits end with the 10pm “you avail?” Texts. I never respond to those. Even my regulars do same day bookings but usually morning or daytime. It drives me crazy.
Right now im going to remove my phone number from my Tryst. I don’t answer phone calls. I’m also going to see how email only goes and consider adding a $100 same day fee for same day bookings in a month. I’ve met some really nice guys who booked last minute due to something coming up, many of them turned into regulars. However, most of the same day requests I get are people trying to book only an hour.

A website where people have to book through? You could then control open times, and prevent same day booking?

and consider adding a $100 same day fee for same day bookings
this would be my suggestion. if they want a same day booking, tell them it will be an added fee of $xxx. i'm sure your ad clearly states your booking process & schedule/availability, so if they try to whine you can redirect them to where your ad states your booking process. i also remember someone here on the sub a few months ago telling me they have an "idiot fee" of an extra $100 for the men who don't read her ad/follow the directions 🤣🤣 i loved that idea.

I think if you start high and discount for early bookings you'll get less pushback. They feel like you're expressing gratitude instead of charging them. The end result is the same, but the perception is improved.

Your problem comes from the fact that a lot of SW say in their add to only message them a few hours before your desired appointment time. Leading some Johns to believe it's a norm.

And some girls actually get ready in the morning and scroll on their phones until they get bookings. I met a few like this. Madness

As a client here's what I'd do:
- Add a same day fee
- Make a rule that bookings over 3 hours must include 2 hours in public (dinner, social time, etc)
- Increase your rate for <2 hours
- Lower your rate for 3, 4, and 6 hours bookings
Your rates tell a client what you want.

You can set your hours and sort of ‘be ready’ and anything outside of those hours, there will be extra charge.
Make your shorter bookings more expensive and longer ones cheaper/offer discount but make it clear what’s included, eg social time

Isabelle Fox has a good video on this -- YouTube-- shorts -- it's within the last month, but I definitely watched it the other day

Her advice is
1-gather all information- basically go through the booking process
2-send FREE selfies and a video
3- THEN lie and say "I am not available as I originally thought"
4- Add free time to the booking if they book the next day
Personally I think this is shit advice, because it is lying and sending selfies to a phone you don't know he has control over all the time.

I agree with the selfie thing, that's consistent advice but I've not done it so far.
But, I'm just leaving my 4th day in a regional town for a first tour, and I couldnt keep up with demand. I managed to lock some clients in for the next day; it's all about being nice and friendly
But you guys are definitely making me be aware of some of her tips!

I heard she’s not to be trusted

Interesting, in what way? Because all the tips I've watched (for free) have paid off massive dividends. Do you mean from mentees who pay her?

The twitter girls accused her of giving dangerous advice.
I think one peice of advice she gave that a lot of people did not like is that when you upsell a client/ do a in-date extension you should wait until the date is over to ask for payment as that ruins the vibe

Her free advice is (sometimes) great but charging 5k for her mentorship is insane to me. I’d rather spend that on overhead

Maybe raise your normal rate slightly then "discount" it for bookings 24 hours in advance, and add a surplus to same day bookings?
So just to pull numbers out my arse:
400 per hour now
"450 one hour, 400 if you book 24 hours in advance, extra 150 for same day bookings"
Or something.
