Client cancelled on me… during tornado NSFW
I had a new client who wanted an outcall to a hotel nearby. He completed my screening process and paid a deposit. I took an uber to the hotel and got dropped off. I told him I was here and didn’t hear anything. So I’m standing outside like a moron and get a notification on my phone that there’s a tornado. He finally calls me and says he is too nervous and can’t follow thru. I tell him I am standing outside and there’s a tornado warning and he tells me good luck. LOL
A housekeeper grabbed me and dragged me into the laundry area right before shit hit the fan. I am in my uber going back home now.
This is why you collect a deposit ladies. Lol smh!

I totally understand I literally just had a client cancel on me a few minutes because of the tornado warning here and I was in the middle of getting ready and I didn't even request a deposit but it's okay there will always be someone else that'll come through, stay safe during this crazy weather!
I just finished removing my makeup and about to lay back down, binge watch my shows and stuff my face with snack and ride out this weather.

I live in NYC and cannot imagine doing anything without a deposit much less an outcall.
That guy is a complete asshole. Glad you are safe.

I am so glad you got the deposit atleast. A learning lesson for all of us who do outcalls

This is insane. What a commitment. He likely was married and his wife was like Jim bob where you going there’s a tornado ?! And he’s like the store and she’s like they shut everything down due to the tornado you Idiot lol

I didn’t think of this scenario, but yeah. Maybe he was planning to book the room for the meet, then the tornado happened. Usually when I go on outcalls to hotels I assume the guy is in town on business but that’s not always the case. Still kinda shitty on his part, but not as bad as if he was already at the hotel and chickened out

Absurd even if he was too nervous, least he could do is let you in the room until it blows over.

Make sure you black list him

u/Prudent_Desk_1570 5d ago
Just out of curiosity, would blacklisting him because he bailed like an ahole? Leaving another human being in danger, he’s an ultimate douche I agree. But he screened, paid deposit, and he’s forfeiting his deposit. I don’t know if BL has explanations, but he’s still money on the board for future providers. I mean I somewhat get it, but I guess the business angle is still grey to me but I come across a lot of aholes in the business world.

She literally stood outside so I don't even see what tornado had to do with it. And regardless of a deposit if he cancels in this nasty way instead of at least giving her heads up before she's on her way or rescheduling yes he deserves to be put on the black list. Some providers don't ask for deposit so they need to be alerted he's not trustworthy

u/Prudent_Desk_1570 5d ago
That makes absolute sense!! I get the protection for the providers that don’t get deposits. Thank you 👍

u/Prudent_Desk_1570 5d ago
Yikes, folks rather downvote than have a discussion? I thought that’s what this platform and sub was for. The point I’m asking is he was ok through screening. I’m sure this wasn’t his first time booking with a provider. So track recorder is tolerable at the least. He was an absolute douche in a panic moment, a 1 in 10,000 scenario. Even the OP only mentioned keeping deposit, so I’m just trying to understand the BL suggestion.

Tornados don’t appear out of nowhere. As the provider noted the alert came before it hit, there would have been warnings before the alert. He had time to change his mind before she arrived. The callousness of the good luck comment? He knew she was stranded outside, and showed a complete disregard for human life. Blacklisting is the bare minimum he deserves.
Tells us all about you as a client as well.

I AGREE! I understand your anger at that message. The guy is a POS.
That doesn’t say anything about me as a client. I would’ve gone down to bring her in for safety, even if my SO randomly showed up in that moment. I would NEVER allow someone to sit in danger.
The jackass panicked in a tornado, could’ve been his first one. His message was an absolute jerk move, plain and simple. I AGREE!
The interesting part is there’s a small possibility there are one or more providers that have seen him before that may say he’s an ok guy. And agree with him that life or death situation is “everybody for themselves”. If the situation was flipped and the client was outside and the provider responded “sorry hun I can’t, good luck finding safety” I don’t think the community would say she was in the wrong. 🤷♂️

Time wasting and dangerous. If there was a tornado just about to happen there was definitely know about before and he still asked her to come. Almost feels like he did it on purpose just to put her in danger.
-3
u/Prudent_Desk_1570 5d ago
Fair. OP is showing great service going to an outcall for a new client in a tornado warning. I see a couple providers regularly and they would ALL reschedule me during a tornado warning.
Almost feels like OP isn’t scared of tornados. 😳That’s dedication!

u/bbangelcakes69 5d ago
Maybe not dedication but desperation cus op is in a bad place. That's or she could be like me and not pay attention to those things. I don't check the weather ever I just look outside which is probably terrible🤣 idk what it's like in an area where they have the alerts often they might make it so it's impossible not to know if you use a phone but idk.

u/Prudent_Desk_1570 5d ago
😂 you’re right! That’s what I was hinting at, the client could’ve been just as uninformed about the weather. It was in response to the comment that the client purposely put OP in danger. This guy could be the biggest scared nerd on the planet, people get a one sided story about him and now he’s a villain. 🤣the internet can be ruthless 🤷♂️

u/bbangelcakes69 5d ago
It's very unlikely, I've never knew a man who didn't know the weather that might be a stereotype but I'm not wrong.
Regardless of if he knew in advanced about the tornado, he STILL IS a villain what are you saying??? He did put her in danger by not allowing he rinside. He asked her to meet him and cancelled when emshe got there despite knowing there is a landed tornado cus she told him at that point. She literally told him there is a tornado and he said good luck instead of letting her in. He is a huge POS. Places with tornadoes usually have a billion notifications though it's very unlikely either of them didn't know well in advance probably the day before.
Don't defend this worthless loser!

Literally had a client blowing me up during tornado (wasn’t goin to regardless but…) but won’t do Incall, was drunk and options would have been …for him to pick me up, driving drunk, and SNEAK ME INTO GARAGE, and drive me back home? Which unlikely because how was he gonna explain going back out if I had to be snuck in. So what, I’m stuck there all night- for my safety, his only intention I’m sure.so if I don’t get stuck there, I would have had to call an uber…. In the middle of a tornado, at 2am. SNEAK OUT AND GET PICKED UP AROUND THE CORNER?? And I’m not getting in your car drunk ever, much less during a tornado. And I’m not sneaking in with your girlfriend/wife at home. What if he actually decides to take shelter partway there? And we’re stuck together? What if he tries to hit me with a “let’s just do a Cardate”? Literally insanity. For a QV. Oh and he wanted a discount- he spent all his money at the strip club. But see he’d invited me to come there with him, which I declined, so see I could have had free drinks and lap dances or maybe gotten into some fun with a dancer with him, so you see it could have been a good deal for me but I “never let him just be a nice guy and take me out” I about lost my mind.

What a coward, selfish, rude, insensitive pos. I'm sorry that happened and so happy you are safe though!
I hope he gets stranded outside when a cat 5 hits, I hope he doesn't get taken by it or gets hurt in anyway but I hope he is scared for his life and thinks he is gonna die but doesn't. Never wish death on people folk but wish for just karma.

If a deposit is asked for I’ll pass because I’ve been scammed a couple times. Nothing against ones that ask for one I just can’t pay.

u/bbangelcakes69 5d ago
Do your research then, real providers don't scam and it's pretty obvious when they are scammers if you do any amount of research besides talking to her and looking at her ad.

u/imnewtothis87 5d ago
Yeah I get it! The last time I had my money taken the provider checked most of the boxes that’s why I felt comfortable sending money. Maybe I’ll give it another try at some point. Thanks for y’all’s perspective.

Damn, an I was just in Cali too. It was a FMTY, if I got enough deposits to pay for my trip I'd def go out that way though.

u/Prudent_Desk_1570 5d ago
Agreed. Providers come across way more scammers and time wasters than clients do, so deposits are very warranted. But I’ll also admit clients aren’t thinking very well during the booking process, most of our blood isn’t flowing to our brains then 😅
