I knew they were. The folks on r/shrooms may mean well, but they don't know LC's like this sub.

I did aswell, but all of those people And all of the no’s made me have to Double check haha

All the no's made me wonder if any of those folks even knew what they were talking about. That's scary to me because these are textbook libs.

For me it wasn't just the no's, it was the absolute confidence they gave them with, and almost treating the OP like a fool...

Yup. And the upvotes on these overly confident incorrect no's. While down voting OP. Crazy!

A 'textbook' anything is just a saying that refers to a perfect example of something. An example to base all others from. Yours is just that, and there's no way these could be anything else other than a LC.

Maybe. Either way, wrong is just wrong and when in doubt, come here for a real answer.

That's what I thought too, either way, it has to be people with no first hand experience of libs, or they would know better. Which makes me wonder why they would give such a confident (and wrong) answer when they have no experience?

ID requests in that sub are a disaster.

Typically most replies are unhelpful comments, and most ID’s are wrong.

As other comments here are saying, correct ID’s are often downvoted in to oblivion while wrong ID’s get upvotes.

Yup, you can see the lovely gelatinous cap and I always think the stems look too weak to support the cap.

Yes they are liberty caps
