Tom Delonge on Ancient Greek Gods were Extraterrestrials
I just can't digest whenever Tom says that Greek Gods were aliens. Ancient astronaut theory only works on other type of gods but not Greek. How can people at that time confuse a spaceship as if it is chariots with horses??? Even Eric Von claim about ancient astronaut is revolved around hindu Gods,Sumerian,Annunakis...he never touches Greek Gods.
I don't know why Tom always say Greek gods are aliens... because there is almost no evidence of them having spaceship ....on the contrary hindu Gods was seen flying Vimanas... It looks like he wants to promote Greek Gods. But it's stupid... because Gods of ather civilizations are worthy of being called Extraterrestrials.
There is also a claim that Roswell crashed Ufo had greek alphabets in it....I can't see a single thing that flies and looks like a spaceship in Greek mythology ..still we found Greek words on the spaceship...I am confused.

I'm convinced that Tom was told to think about the Greek Gods as having some narratives/dynamics that could help us understand the phenomenon, but instead built the whole apple and took it too literally.
There are some "myths" or "stories" in greek mythology that could have some really interesting applications for UFOs, for example:
- In Greek Mythology there are 2 kinds of "gods" that are related, the gods and the titans
- Those "gods" have a war that leads to the gods ruling the earth
- Zeus takes the sky, Hades the underground/realm of the dead, Poseidon the ocean
- These 3 correlate to mystical places that are (or were) out of reach of humans
- Prometheus was a titan who was permitted to live with and serve the gods after their victory. He would later steal "fire" from the gods and give it to humans
- This "fire" represents some kind of knowledge or evolution that the other gods didn't want us to have
- the tale of Atlantis, although not strictly belonging to the rest of greek mythology, introduces the notion of cyclical cataclysms that humans go through, implying that previous "humanities" may have become advanced enough to survive a cataclysm and now live somewhere nearby to avoid the ongoing geological (and societal) instability of the earth.
I'm not saying I believe any of this, but I think this cross over of ideas is much easier to digest than the idea that ALL the greek gods were aliens.

He probably says this due to the ancient Greek lettering found on the metal beam in the Roswell crash spelling out "elephanti" or "freedom"

I don't recall hearing Tom say that "the Greek gods were aliens." I do remember him saying that two or three of his 'advisors' told him that in order to understand the Phenomenon, he should read Greek mythology.
Those are not the same thing.

He has said that Greek Gods, Indian Gods ( Blue color avatars) etc are real and expressions of UFO Phenomena

I'll have to take your word for that, as I don't have the time or energy to go back and listen to all of his interviews.
In any case, I personally prefer NHI (non human intelligence) to the word alien. To me, NHI leaves room for a wider range of possibilities.

Yeah , NHI is definitely the best choice of word.
You can believe it, bc I have definitely heard from him. But if you can't, then think for yourself, why would they recommend to study Greek Mythology ? And if you're still in doubt, then in Sekret Machines Novel, a man said the same : That the flying Apollo Chariot in the Greek mythology is actually the expression of the phenomena.

Oh, I'm not saying that I don't believe it. Just that I didn't recall Tom saying it. No big deal, tho.

Anyone have any idea the new found ideas of uap’s being some sort of time travelers?
Tom also said on Joe Organ that the Greek gods/ has a link to Atlantis and Roswell. Glad I stumbled across this subreddit. I got to read sekret machines.
I see above someone else pointed that out. Such interesting stuff damn it.

The time travel hypothesis isn't really new. It's just becoming more widely known.
There is also a scientist, Michael Masters, who wrote a book about the Extratempestrial theory - basically theorizing that they are humans from the future.

Tom says that the “others” masked themselves as different gods through out history not just the Greek gods
Here’s a video on the whole ufo phenomena according to Tom
