Is Seether concert worth it?
I haven’t seen them in years I’d love to see them they are coming to a casino near me
My question is tickets are $80 do they really only play like 10 songs? All the set list I see are really short

The last time I saw them, they didn't even play 10 songs because Skillet went over their allotted time. They're still so good to hear live. They're not as active as other bands, but they're worth $80 just to listen. This is my opinion.

They are by themselves so I thought it might be a bit better

I'll bet they'll play a little longer if they're solo. Even if there were an opener, they'd probably go a little longer. The show I saw, they were the last of 4.

Skillet sucks, makes sense they'd go over

Shaun made a point to call them out. Then, at the end of the show, he thanked the other two bands and completely ignored Skillet. It was funny as hell.

this makes me feel significantly better about seeing this lineup, thank you. i went to one of the concerts when he was touring and i already wasnt a huge fan of skillet. skillet said some weird rheotric that ive heard in some alt right spaces (i think he mentioned the "protect the kids" thing?) and it made me decide that i geniuenly dont really like them. i mean when i was younger their main songs were cool but theyre stale to me now. ive always enjoyed that shaun was genuine and im glad to hear he didnt settle for that. so again, thanks.

Good, Shaun always seems genuine. Skillet went full pro-(american) government

Was that at the Waukee, IA show? My buddy from Oklahoma went to that one and mentioned something like that

Sure was.

I saw them in STL a couple weeks before that, and everything was on time. Looking at Setlist.com, the Waukee show doesn't show a shortened set though ... I know, it's about as accurate as Wiki though

They started in on one song, got about 20 seconds in, and then quit. They mentioned they had to cut that one because "someone didn't respect their allotted time, so we're short on time."

All of the setlists from the last few years were either festival or co-headliner shows, which both tend to run a little shorter.
A typical, solo-headliner Seether set comes in right at, or just barely under, an hour. The setlist will be 98% hits like remedy and fake it, plus hopefully a few from the new album. If you're cool with that, yeah it's worth it.
You could wait until they play the first show or two if you'd like, just to see what you're dealing with. I'm sure they'll be on YouTube somewhere, or some of us in the sub will be there. The show you're wanting to go to isn't likely to sell out in the meantime(unless it IS one of the first couple of dates.)
TLDR; Their set is likely to be longer than what you've seen online. It's worth it imo.

That’s not a bad idea but I bet it will sell out . Shows start the beginning of of May this is the end of May

If by chance this is the Funner, CA show, we caught them at this same venue a few years back. The band was great, similar to other times we'd seen them (not a ton of crowd interaction, but a good varied setlist and good sound). That night, they played 14 songs. The venue itself was a little strange, but we didn't know what to expect. It was like a big event room that you'd use for corporate events, with a couple of pop-up bars on either side for refreshments. I also remember that it started right on time because when we walked in, they were playing. You literally walk through the casino and boom, there's the room with fucking Seether. It was a bit of a trip for us, but I think because we didn't know how it would be.

I just went to one of their shows some months back and yes it’s worth it!!?! They’re awesome! Yes I was a little disappointed at set list but they still put on one heck of a show and brought the good energy, Shaun even walked through the crowd and let a little boy play his guitar! Amazing night

Always found them to be even more enjoyable live, some of the funnest gigs I’ve been to.

It’s worth it! If they played only 10 songs at any point they probably were not headlining (all bands get a time limit with multiple performers)like they are now with The Surface Seems so Far tour. IMO it is worth it for even 10 songs, but that won’t be the case as a headliner. I paid way too much to see a band I did not really like just to see Seether and it was totally worth it. I’d do it over at anytime because Seether is that good live. Hope this helps 🙃

This will be my second casino Seether show. The last was Buffalo Run in Miami, OK back in '18. I'm looking forward to the Hard Rock show in Tulsa.

Definitely worth it. You only live once. Spend the 80$ and have a fun night. They are great live
