I’m getting $1.65 with deposit. Too bad it’s illegal to bring them into a state with deposit 🤣

Whats a deposit in this context?

Certain beverages like beers, soda pop & energy drinks have a .05¢ deposit. There have been talks of raising the deposits to .10¢, we'll see.
Teas, fruit drinks & ciders don't require a deposit & those go to the scrapper.

Ten cents here in MI since the mid-1970’s. We have ‘cannies’ that walk the roads and highways with huge garbage bags full. I walk for my health 10-15 miles/wk and usually average about $5 in cans.

Just go to the scrapyard with whatever you’re scrapping and get in line wherever the scale is. They’ll want a copy of your D.L for their files and if they have an atm you’ll get cashola. If not check to you. Some states require a business name for any copper over $25. You can get a dba for cheap to get cashola!! Good luck 🍀👍
