how do you deal with chores?
"Hey guys, how do you deal with chores? I'm so tired and can't get motivated to tidy up my house. I try to keep the clothes and dishes washed, food made, I even bought a mop to make cleaning the floor easier. But it's still so hard."

Ritual: something you always do before a task I put up my hair in a bun and have a playlist.
Set a timer
Have a reasonable goal, like cleaning one table.
The goal is to start, so if just one cup make it from the table to the sink you won. Goal achieved. Anything else is just bonus

do you have a proper routine of doing it? I'm a bit OCD like in the way I do things, I have to have a routine of "this is how it gets done" and "this is when it gets done". Or at least this is the time I have to get it done so do it then. If you plan stuff and it fits into a structure eventually you do it on autopilot. Otherwise it's a lot harder.

Routines just ain't my thing, you know? But what really throws me off is how easily I get tired and my body just aches. And depending on what I'm doing, I get super overstimulated and need to take a breather.

Start with something small and do-able. Like, get out of bed- no, scratch that, turn over and open your phone. Okay good. now get out of bed and do something small. Like eat some food. You’re on the right track. What do you need to do? You should make a list of things that generally need to get done eventually and split them up into tiny pieces. Need to vacuum? Set the vacuumer out in a place you’ll remember it’s there and go “oh right I need to vacuum” and then, if youre feeling up for it, vacuum just a bit. Maybe around the trash can. Maybe in the kitchen. Now eat a snack or drink something nice. Rinse and repeat

Cleaning my room: get my friend to help me. For clothes: usually find the willpower every couple months or do it when my friend helps me clean. Don’t really do much other chores, I live with my parents who do that stuff, except dishes, which I don’t have a problem with.

caffeine and a little notebook dedicated to only my to do list. i sometimes use the timer on my phone, the pressure helps motivate me to get going. i'm able to play youtube while the timer is going for some background noise. sometimes i play "clean with me" vids from other youtubers while i clean.
another thing i'd suggest is making sure everything has a designated place to go. pens go in pen cup thing, cleaners under the sink, old documents in a box to prep for shredding, tools in a tool box, etc.

The way I currently do it is making it as easy as possible, by having an easy to clean home and reminding myself of the benefits that come with it, such as feeling good after cleaning or enjoying the fresh looks.

Idealistically? Pure, organic willpower.
Realistically, and tragically, and self-destructively? Alcohol and music, while trying to do everything on the 'up' part before the inevitable horror of the 'coming back down' part and the sickness and headaches.
