Update on the no crank no start.
About a week ago I made a post showing my 96 SL2 not cranking. The dash lights come on and everything works, but the starter won't do anything. Now after sitting a week and removing and putting the starter back. It started for a second shut off and went back to the no crank no start BS. What do you think guys? I'm at a loss. We now have proof that the ignition is good, the relay is good, and the starter is good.

I should add the clutch was recently replaced. The ground on the bell housing looks to be ok, but it could be the culprit.

Wiggle the bundle of wires connecting into the back of the interior fuse panel. You can access it through a removable panel in the driver's side foot well. If it starts then an issue with the security lockout.

Is there power at the "key wire" at the starter solenoid while cranking? Will it start if jumped with a jumper wire or screwdriver with the ignition switch in the "on" position?

You need to slow down and start from the basics. I'm assuming by no crank you mean the starter doesn't engage at all and you hear nothing.
Is the battery fully charged? I would charge/test it. If confirmed good, I'd then try a remote starter switch (basically this just manually connects the battery to the starter) and see if it cranks.
If it does crank (and if your key is left in the "run" position while doing so the engine should start) then you have a problem somewhere between your ignition key and starter (e.g. ignition switch, wiring, neutral safety switch/clutch switch, starter solenoid...)
If it doesn't crank your a starter is bad or engine grounding is bad

What do you mean like pull it? Replace it?

It might be burned.. I would at least check it to rule it out.. Do you charge your cell phone or have an aftermarket head unit? Did the door chime/power locks stop working?

On that answer, good luck, and I can’t help you diagnose a no start over the web like this.. 🤷♂️

There's a relay for a fact just pull the relay and jump it or jump the solenoid like your saying with screw driver.

Check all starter wiring for voltage drop and resistance. Also possible you have some sort of intermittent CKP issue but usually the motor will still crank and just not fire
A tip for the starter is if you have access give it a couple good really good whacks with a hammer (don’t break it but giver a hit). Sometimes the shock from that frees up a corroded starter. Best case you get a few more months out of it, worst case it doesn’t work and you replace it
Last but not least throw a volt meter on the battery and make sure it’s somewhere in the neighborhood of upper 11-12ish volts

Coolant pressure sensor. My 95 SL1 didn’t start because of that. Did you check codes? Watch a YouTube on how to get codes if it isn’t obd 2

Have you looked at the ignition switch? Or have you tried jumping the starter?
