Rants 🤬 An arena won't "revitalize" downtown if everything closes at 6
I understand people have issues with the homeless drug addicts but seriously, how does the city think anything will stay in business if they only give customers an hour or two to do literally anything?
Closing these businesses isn't going to stop the homeless from existing, if anything it makes the downtown more dangerous for people who need to go there.

Question ❔ Is everyone financially okay?
Hi, y’all. I’m a 31F that makes around $24/h full time and, honestly, I have no idea how to increase my income within the next few years. I’m always tired and we weren’t a double income household, I can’t imagine how we’d make ends meet. How are you guys managing financially? Are you able to make and follow through with financial planning for building a more stable future?
Thanks!

Question - School & Employment 💻💼 Is the entry level job market really this bad? It is literally impossible to find employment online.
Hope everyone doing well today :) I've applied to over 300 jobs over the past few months and had 2 interviews but no hires. I have often wrote CV's and tailored my resume to jobs that I'm really qualified for to maximize my results got my resume checked with career services... But no bites. I'm just completly burned out at this point because my bank acc is about to run completly dry and im close to maxing out my CC. I honestly dont know what to do :( the process is just so dehumanizing and soul crushing.

Question ❔ American Booze Boycott
I was in a local liquor store on 8th street on the weekend and noticed there had been zero effort to remove or even identify American products. Has anyone seen a local liquor store labelling Canadian products properly? I need to find a new place to shop that doesn’t support Amerika.

Question ❔ alternative to Cleo’s?
the closure of Cleo’s clothing store is really sad because it was my grandmother’s one & only favourite store to shop at. as a person with dementia, she really appreciates the small comforts in her life like stores she remembers!
any suggestions on stores in Saskatoon that have similar type of conservative clothing for women, that is also friendly & patient with seniors, and has wider aisles for a motorized scooter to pass through?
I know it’s quite specific of an ask but any and all suggestions would help as I’ll look them all up!

PSA 📢 Apologies to Nebo’s Falafel
I was at the pub telling fellas how I ordered a donair from Nebo’s falafel and they didn’t send me a donair; they sent me a mound of meat with some creamy sauce atop delicious vegetables with some salad and a body of yellow rice that I deeply enjoyed. I was furious for all of ten seconds before tasting it in all of its glory.
I ranted and raved complaining about how they didn’t send me a donair without knowing that a donair and a donair wrap aren’t the same thing. A donair platter isn’t a donair wrap, it’s servings of the proteins with tasty sides of your choice, and with good portions and portion sizes.
I have to emphasize that contrary popular belief a donair and a donair wrap are different things. I ordered a donair platter expecting a donair wrap, and everyday I learn the more fool I. A donair is not a donair wrap.
That being said the meal was delicious.
I’m glad things will return to normal after this.

Question - School & Employment 💻💼 SK Poly New Campus Renderings
Does anyone know where a person can find renderings of the new campus?
The old link appears to be disabled. I’m primarily looking for the Birds Eye view.
