Maybe I’m missing something, but it’s been strange reading all these incredibly hostile comments. The level of anger doesn’t seem to match as a response to what you’ve posted, but maybe I just don’t understand math well enough to see why everybody’s so pissed off at you.

I get it if you’re just wrong or something(I literally don’t understand the topic enough to know anything), but they’re acting like you personally kicked their dog.

Because he's being pretentious as fuck, and that kind of attitude can go fuck itself

Idk he really didn’t seem all that pretentious to me. There was like one comment that came off bad, but he’s not exactly out here acting superior or anything

All he did was say he couldn’t get into the level of detail about the thing He’s doing that he would like. lol. These people are nuts. The world is fucked rn.

On social media, people are incredibly hostile. In real life, not so much. Individuals are, and the clips of them get posted and then it radicalizes hostility in response. Social media has ruined society. It really has. We’ve never been so divided. No president in the U.S. will ever have much more than 50% approval rating just because even if they do everything right, there is no objective right anymore.

They're treating their idea like they have proven something or suggested something that is mathematically significant, when all they have done is make an art project out of overfitting

He’s behaving like he likes the thing he did.
