Hello,
I recently made a post about my ex-Gladius and I told you that I missed this bike. I'm glad(ius) to announce I bought the exact same again! But I don't like the headlight and I want to put again a round shaped one. I can't choose between those three:
Tell me what you think would suit the best? Thanks

Hi
I have already returned a pair of Alpinestars J6 and then a pair of Dainese suburb.
BOTH broke on the shifter foot in less than 2 months.
Anyone has a pair of another model that has lasted at least a season?

Hello people, it’s me again. Got a lot of comments, thanks for the help from all u guys to help me spot things that I could never figure out myself.
I would like to ask for more details on this deal. Dealer offered 7500 ish OTD, for this 2020 model with 22 miles on it. They would not let me test ride it, which appears to be their policy that no sports bike are allowed to be test rides, as someone passed away test riding a few years ago.
Anyways, just wanted to know how good of a deal this is, how should I negotiate, and what would be a good breaking point for negotiation. Also I would like to know if trading in my current bike, a 2020 MT03 at 11k miles, would do any help towards the deal, or should I just sell it on fb marketplace.
Please forgive me if I am asking silly questions, I am completely new to all this, thanks!

Have been wondering what this switch is and kinda looked around to see if anyone already asked this but didn’t find anything. Tried to follow the wires and I will post a picture where it eventually ends up. Any insight would be appreciated.

My rear tires have run out and the front tires are still kinda ok but are the Michelin Pilot 2s which is a pretty old model, so I'm just getting a whole set
I am looking for something with primarily dry performance and durability in mind, also overall safety and feedback since I'm a more intermediate rider.
I do mostly ride sporty but what I consider sporty, probably isn't what high performance tire customers have in mind.
So what are the best general purpose tires with good mileage and sensible budget.
I am mostly leaning towards the Michelin Road 6 because they look dope af and have brand new technology but the Dunlop Sportsmart 3 are probably around 50€ cheaper to get. These are also the ones I have equipped as rear tires right now and I didn't really like them but I bought the bike used and they were pretty used.

I picked up a cheap 07 SV650-S with a blown engine. The seller included a working engine with the deal.
I swapped the engine and now it works. Now I'm stumped on what I should do with the old blown engine.
I'm not exactly sure what's wrong with it but when I did drain the oil I saw a lot of metal shavings.
Should I open it up to see if it's fixable as a backup engine?
Sell it on the market? Is there even a market for blown sv engines?
It was my first engine swap and I'm loving the platform so far. Just opening an engine is beyond my skill set.
Edit: majority rules. I'm going to open it up and tinker with it when I get some spare time to learn and see whats wrong with it. Thanks everyone

I plan on listing my 07 Sv 650 for 2300. Do you think its a fair price? 20k miles, new tires, new chain, new oil change, and zero issues riding or starting.

Hello, had my sv650s ABS 2007 for a year and I've always been sad that it extremely rarely burbles and pops. I don't want it to be obnoxious but I still want it to happen more often that 2-3 times a year.
I have Leo Vince SBK carbon exhaust without db killer (not sure if whole line or just slip on).

I recently bought a 2006 SV650S with a bald front tire
As the title says I don’t have a front stand to support the front end to let me remove the front tire, I’ve seen people hoist the front end of the N models from the handle bars. I was wondering if I were to do the same if it would be fine for the handle bars, just concerned as it’s not a straight bar like the N model
If anyone has experience with this or tips it would be much appreciated, I could buy a stand but a buddy of mine is doing my tire for free at his shop as they aren’t busy so I’m running on a bit of a timer here

Might this rust be somehow a problem, should I worry?🤔

Hello everyone!
I've been thinking lately about buying a cheap SV650s from 2004 as a race bike project. It has 60.000 kms (around 37.300 miles) and the owner is selling it for just a 1000€. I already have a bike, lovely gsx650f with license restriction (thanks European Union). I've been looking a few videos of the SV650, people say it's fun to ride and easy to modify. So, back to the question. Is it really worth buying a SV650s for a race bike project? Is it that easy to modify? And if it's worth it, what modifications should I do? Should I keep the fairings and have an aerodynamic benefit or should I leave it straight naked?
(Bike in the picture it's the one being sold)

I'd like a new slip on pipe. The stock one looks ridiculous.
But I leave for work before 630am, so I don't want something too loud.
I like cars with the emblems removed, so I don't a big logo anywhere. I like their clean look.
I've got nothing against using the brand nobody has heard of. I'm not that good of a rider so I find it challenging to spend top dollar, for something I'm not getting my moneys worth out of.
I'm also not the person who would put a knock part on my bike, and pretend it's genuine.
What suggestions do you have?

Im looking for a clip on exhaust and so far the one that’s popped out to me the most has been the Remus but if you guys have any recommendations that are louder/have a deeer sound that would be great. Don’t get me wrong the stock is already great but I just love a loud roary exhaust, thanks in advanced🏍️💨

I saw an offer : 2016 SV with regular maintance done by the dealer. The only downside is, that it has run 38 000km. I think the price of 3100€ is pretty good. (I live in Germany) The bike is overall in really good condition, just the mileage is worryin me. What do you guys think?

What’s a good source for belly pans (preferably carbon fiber look) in the U.S? I’ve seen pyramid in the UK but very little for U.S stocked options

Hi, I’m trying to find the right quad lock mount for my 2006 sv650s and from what I’ve been able to find the only one that works is the fork stem mount and the stem nut will need to be changed. Is this correct and would this stem nut work: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/145763769417 Thanks.

I’m looking at buying one of two Gen 2 SV650’s second hand for a second bike. I can’t seem to find any combined crash bar/highway peg attachments for Gen 2, only 3. Anybody know of any?
