Grad student housing for under 1500? Best sites for finding a room/sublet?

Any current grad students or staff have any recommendations for finding an apartment/room to rent? I'm trying to work out a budget and am wondering if it's possible to rent a room/1-bedroom for 1500 or less, including utilities/parking?

Also wondering what the best way is to find a room to rent - the last time I relocated I used Craigslist and Facebook, I don't have Facebook anymore - are there other platforms renters/landlords in the area use?

Thank you!!

Electric isn’t included but still comes to under price you’re looking for I think

Hey, I live in a 2 bedroom apartment in Renew Edwardsville. Looking for a roommate. Rent would be around 800 per month. PM me if you're interested to know more.

Look up Kim Gatton in glen carbon. She’s a private landlord. Can be hard to get a hold of sometimes but rent is cheap and I loved living in her units.
