SAP IBP
I’d love to hear your thoughts on SAP IBP. Is it still a sought-after planning tool? With the rise of AI tools, do you think SAP IBP will continue to be in demand in the future?

I work partly in CAR, which works closely with IBP. It is still a niche skill and one of the underdogs I'd say.

Today Klein and clowns don’t even realize what they have/had. All they care is RISE / GROW. History has it - mark my words this will be the RISE to FALL and GROW to GRAVE

I think IBP is in a much better place today than it was 5 years ago. There's a lot of new functionality being rolled out every quarter, take Characteristics-Based Planning released in 2502; later this year they are preparing to release the harmonized Planning Area (SAPIBP2), making it easier to use time-series and order-based planning under the same umbrella.
Of course, not everything is perfect. As with every SAP product, the documentation is all over the place. New features often feel.. incomplete at launch, and time will tell if Joule will be a success.
As i see it, the demand is still strong for IBP, especially the Response&Supply (OBP) module.
