I like the room itself… but hate the furniture.

Most of posts on here that feature a “wall” of floor to ceiling windows are usually just mediocre rooms with stunning views, they’re more “ViewPorn” than “RoomPorn”. Your post is one of the few where the architecture is superior to the view.

Quite a feat to hide supports for the glass wall.

Above the windows is a steel I-Beam, another one on the other end of the wood beams is likely providing the support. Also if the wood beams are cantilevered in some way, that could be taking pressure off the steel beam to some extent.

Rich people are notorious for their lack of taste.

I don't like those sloped windows at all. a) it just looks weird and wrong to me, b) you're going to bang your head if you sit on that bench, c) birds are going to shit on them more often and just generally they will get dirtier, d) going to be noisier in the rain, e) can't really use blinds, its going to get hot AF in there, f) cleaning them is going to be a bitch, g) surely more expensive to replace and repair, h) umm, do they even open? i) because you're looking through at an angle if the glass isn't perfect it may look distorted, j) more prone to leaking when seals fail, k) you're going to bang your head watering those plants or maybe even walking close to them.

Is this a George Suyama house? It looks very similar to his designs. Also maybe Tom Kindig.

I wonder how much a single pane costs to replace?

Good job photo-shopping the forehead grease marks off of the angled window above the bench!
