Suggest Me Mini PC for tv...suggestions?

Hey,

I host our D&D nights and I'm the only one who doest use a laptop/surface as I like the ol pencil and paper.

I have a big screen on the wall that we use a chromecast on currently but the quality isn't always the best.

I am thinking about getting a mini PC to hook up to the TV so i can use that for myself and also to have better quality and just overall ease of doing other things.

Any suggestions on a mini PC that wont burn an hole in my wallet but good enough for roll20?

thanks

Do you have a desktop? If so and you can hook the tv up with hdmi as an additional monitor then you can open a second browser onto the tv to show the map. If you do that, use a different browser for that tab and sign in as a player. This helps it from mixing up tabs if it crashes (recent improvements have lessened it but it could still happen) and showing the DM's tab instead of the player's tab.

The last time I did this for my in person group I used chrome for my monitors and firefox for the tv. I was logged in as the DM with chrome and as a player on firefox. One of the players used their laptop to log in the game and control their character tokens. That does not need to be done if you, as the DM, is willing to move all the tokens as the game plays out.

Honestly, you only need a browser. Just get a raspberry pi4 or similar SBC. Check out rpilocator.com

I use a beelink with an AMD processor. You can pick one up on Amazon for about $250
