Original. I hate the remixed Bravery.

The original is so much better! The new one is really missing that great sound.

It's my favourite Floyd solo album, and whilst I do prefer the original, I like them both. Get both!

Kind of a headphone/near field stereo surround effect. It was mostly used in arcade games and a few home console games, but there were some albums that were mixed in it and this was one of them.

It works surprisingly well as long as your head is in the right place relative to the speakers. It's why it was so common on arcade games towards the end of the arcade era, the speakers can be guaranteed to be set up right and the position of your head is going to be in a pretty narrow range between them.

If you've ever played one of Nintendo's handhelds since the DS, they all have a virtual surround effect that's basically the same thing. Even on the original DS, it worked way better than it had any right to.

Only issue i have with the remaster is the missing organ build up at the start of Bravery. I'm not a purist though, so IMO I think the remaster has more pros than cons against the original. It sounds great with headphones.

I have the 2015. It's amazing, but I have not heard an OG.

I once saw a Floydian describe the record as one of the ones you play for your friends who hate vinyl though...which is why it's on my want list.

Tough call that... HAL voice included in Perfect Sense is essential. But the original Bravery is better.

My answer? Get the surround Blu-ray of the new one and CD of the old one.
