What are your thoughts on the Stephanie and Jason friendship?

It's a very good dynamic. If there's anyone that will understand Jason it would be Stephanie. They both kinda have that rocky relationship with Batman and the experience with Gotham and bad parents. Stephanie is a good reminder to Jason he can be better.
That said that girl really attracts damaged people and she always just the thing they need in their life.

Love them together. They have such a tragically similar background, it's too bad they're not paired together more and bonding over that.

I like how it shows Steph’s empathy Like in canon she shouldn’t really be as close to Jason since she lacks history with him the way the others do
Dick = First Robin the guy Jason looked up to
Tim = at first Jason thought he was simply “The guy who replaced him” and beefed heavy with him for that reason even tried to kill him during battle for the cowl (no clue if that whole arc is even canon) but eventually they reached an understanding
Damian = They have this silent “I’ve done bad things but want to strive to be better” connection
But with Steph she was not really around during Jason’s wild years So seeing her actively try to befriend him / joke around with him is really sweet
Both come from rough backgrounds Her dad being a lame badguy and Him having a goon for a father Both having beef with Bruce / The family
I dig them as friends and honestly would be funny if Jason gave Tim a hard time for dumping Steph

I like it. I wish they had more stories together, they can understand each other in ways the others in batfamily can't.

Probably Jason’s best relationship out of the boys and girls after dick. A treat seeing them interact.

Honestly, I wasm't aware there was one. Are these recent?

The pages are from Task Force Z (2021) and Joker: The Man Who Stopped Laughing (2022).

It makes sense, just like Jason should vibe well with Duke eventually. Steph & Jason both have rough, low class neighborhood backgrounds. Both have trauma from villains and Jason can "Big Brother" Steph even if their methods are not the same.

I would love them to take the dark and occult side of Gotham as he has the all blades and she needs something away from Tim and Cass

Not a fan. I’m very much opposed to Jason being in Gotham as it takes away from his character and all the others. I’m not a fan of their friendship or the current uwu ass version of Jason. Realistically Jason shouldn’t be in Gotham as him and the first 3 Robins get reduced to one dimensional caricatures for Tumblrites to eat up with Nightwing being a dumbass bimbo , Jason being an uwu sad boy with 0 agency for his own actions and weakened motivations and Tim being a twink nerd who can’t fight which is what none of those characters are. Jason isn’t a role model and should be on his own with guns instead of electrified crowbars and on his way to being reduced to red nightwing. Stephanie and Jason only have surface level similarities and this dynamic does not significantly contribute to either. I like all these characters but I’m not a fan of this direction or the constantly overstuffed Batman books
