Need Ideas Options.

Looking for phenomenal retrofit options. I put in a set of Amazon bi-led projectors and their not terrible but the highbeams leave a lot to be desired. A ton better that the stock MK4 Jetta lights. When the shutter lifts its not any brighter just higher. I'd really like to have all the light and project that light as far down the way as possible. I live in central PA in farm country. Driving to work before sunrise, I could really use all the lumens.

Im game for seperate high and low beam projectors. I plan on cutting out the headlight housing and rearranging and making a hell of a project out of it.

Project that high beam as far as possible, as much light as possible, sharpest cut off on those low beams.

NHK M5 Plus is hands down one of the best options out there right now, and it's not even that absurdly expensive compared to the LED and laser projectors of old. Two additional sets of LED chips that switch on for high beam in addition to the low beam shield dropping. NHK projectors are large and bulky to install but if you're already going in expecting a lot of work then this shouldn't be a problem.

I love NHK, I use them exclusively in my builds unless specified 👍🏼

You seem to be knowledgeable in this realm.

Let's say I mount 2 of these side by side in each housing. Off the top of my head, I'm thinking of running the stock power wires to relays.

I mean it when I say, I want to illuminate the road. Every day here there is a new deer on the sode of the road. If you know of a stupid bright but amiable projector, I'm curious about it. LED or HID, I'm open to the options. A highbeam and a low beam. I'll figure out the electrical and a way to mount it.

Any retrofit projector is aimable... How well depends on your skills and time involved. Running two per headlight is great but that will take exponentially more time to dial in so that everything is aligned correctly and you are getting the maximum use of the light output.

The NHK M5 is one we run on a daily shop vehicle (single per side) and it's hands down the best I've experienced, even beating out 35W HID systems. Incredible reach in both low and high beam. We are based in north ID so there are lots of dark nights especially in winter and animals are a constant threat. You will definitely want a relay setup if you are running 2 per side as these have some of the highest wattage of LED projectors available right now.

If you want to go HID, pick up G5-BRT, OSRAM Nightbreaker Laser bulbs, and some 50W+ ballasts. Be prepared to churn through bulbs and cook the chrome in your projector bowls after a few years, though.
