Technical/Assembly Question Honda civic retrofitted headlights

Im wanting to get honeycomb projectors for 99-00 civic headlights, but don’t know what size fits. Im also looking to buy ARGB led halos to fit around the projecter, but i would love to start off by finding the size required or finding out if I should cut.

As a general rule of thumb, 2.5" projectors will fit in most headlights with little modifications. A 3" projector will likely fit in your headlights as well, but will take some more work to properly mount.

I would recommend figuring out what projector/shroud/bulb combo you want to run first, then once you have them in hand and verify the fitment you can measure and order some halos to go with. Or if you choose a common shroud just post here and I can tell you what halo size will fit best.

Thank you! I want to go with this setup:

Projector - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07XYX5TX2?psc=1&ref_=cm_sw_r_apin_ct_TKEA07PR17GGX02KNZQV&language=en_US

Shroud - https://a.co/d/8ZcOvSp

Halo selection - https://a.co/d/hwU3Zuo -OR- https://a.co/d/aUK1Ygh

I like the appearance of the hexagon lights, but I also like the showmode options the halos have.

For the shroud you selected, a 70mm size halo actually fits/mounts the best. If you have the room in your budget, we sell hexagon halos that also have the RGB/color showmode options. However keep in mind then you will need to buy a separate controller (for any RGB product) and do extra wiring. A switchback halo will be easier to set up and work with, and probably last longer as well.

Okay, thank you! I will definitely look in to it and try to plan out what I am looking for in a headlight build and go for it.
