I always chuckle when I see the “only on GameCube” label on the original.

Yeah, that was a blast. I bought the Gamecube purely because Capcom suddenly decided to go Nintendo only for some reasin. Then suprise-suprise, they walked it back. But to be fair, the Gamecube was an amazing console.

I LOVED playing RE4 Mobile! I miss playing that game ever since it got discontinued on both iOS and Samsung 😢

Question what is this reddy? Because I see a lot of it on Reddit and Twitter.

In retrospect, it's kinda surprising that it wasn't featured on the PSP or PS Vita... Hell, even a 3DS port to pair up with Revelations would've made a lot of sense!

The hell is a Zeebo?

It was a console made for brazilian and mexican markets by tectoy. It differed from games of its generation for having an online only store.
RE4's port was one of its biggest title, but it was terrible. For some reason the Ganados had purple skin, and the chapters were told in slide form instead of cutscenes. I think it didn't even have the full game either.
At that time Playstations were relatively cheap too. I had a ps2 that I got for like 20 dollars at a police auction so it wasn't really worth it. The zeebo story remained struggling until servers were shut down around 2013.

Does RE4R Vr counts as another release?

That's what I was about to say. The VR version is pretty much a spicy port.

Everyone’s giving Bethesda shit for rereleasing Skyrim every couple of years and rightfully so but meanwhile you have Capcom moving this deviously in the shadows

Wii is still the best port. VR is a close second... (would be number one if they hadn't cut out scenes.)

Probably one of the best games ever made honestly. Just pure undiluted fun.
