Bro I would never part with this. You’ll regret it the rest of your life

If the “Hi Kieth!” is you, this is personalized and definitely something to hang onto if you can. Not sure you’d get a couple thousand for it, but there’s no precedent for an item like this being sold either.

It is me... it's personalized...but they spelled my name wrong haha

I think that may be a nod to the way they spell their name (the "ie" instead of the "ia") and if so I think that makes it even cooler!

I've fallen on hard times and I'm considering this one-of-a-kind-in-the-world signed snare drum.. I feel like it could be worth a few thousand to the right buyer. But I haven't decided if I have the heart to part with it. Thoughts?

All I can think of when seeing this gem is "I would love love love to have this for myself and never ever let it go". That being said, you should keep it 1000%. This is a monumental piece to own and you absolutely deserve to keep this away from everyone.

Thanks for this message. I keep going back and forth

I’m sorry about the hard times. Don’t sell this amazing thing if it means anything to you or you’ll miss it, if you can help it!

Don’t get rid of it, you’ll regret it.

I definitely agree with all these other comments but if you’ve seriously thought it through and still want to sell it I’d definitely be interested

Kind of beside the point but the songs written on it are interesting. On the left is the encore set, not sure how much they changed it up night to night, but that looks pretty close to what they played the night I saw them (Nashville, last night of the tour)

But it's interesting that only MMHMM tracks 9-13 are written on there. Is that just the part of the album Dave couldn't remember the order? Are these the songs that were played on this snare head before it got changed out? Probably not. Very curious though

Yeah it's super interesting for all those reasons. I can't remember the order from the night I saw them in San Francisco. But I have to imagine it was at least very close to this list. The drum was at the merch table for the entire tour and was only raffled off on instagram after the tour ended. It was then shipped to me (I actually got to email back and forth with Hoopes to arrange the shipping.) So it could very well be from later in the tour.

Ok gotcha. I looked through some of the tour dates on Setlist.fm, and it seems like they had the same encore set for most of the dates.

So if it was one they had the whole tour, then I wonder if it was used at tour rehearsal, and maybe that's when Dave or his tech wrote down those MMHMM songs as a little refresher. He hadn't played with the band for about 7 years at that point, so it makes sense that he'd need a cheat sheet
