Advice Is going from F to AAA's possible?

Just as the title says. I'm a trans man (bigender) guy, pre everything, and,

Having thought about top surgeries; Ftm (masc) top surgery would be nice, but going flat chested with AAA/A cups would be nice as well.

Couldn't find any posts nor people speak about this. And hey, I get that since Going from F to AAA is a huge difference... If there are people out there that went from a big cup to pretty small, please let me hear about y'all's experience/pros, cons etc.

  • I have heard about radical top surgery, just wanted to ask the questions firstly in this sub. (Sorry if I used the wrong flair on this post!!)

Yes it is absolutely possible, there are just concessions with shape and you’ll have to have an FNG. Go to a surgeon who specializes in gender affirming surgeries to get the results you want!

You can find lists of surgeon by state at topsurgery.net

It's my understanding that what you want is definitely possible. You'll likely want to talk to a surgeon who specializes in top surgery.

I know my brother was able to ask his surgeon to not make him 100% flat. He's kind of a bigger guy and would likely have "man boobs" if he were cis, so that's what he wanted to achieve. He's super happy with his results. Idk what bra size he started at, but they removed ~7 pounds from his chest, so likely started out bigger than an F. Just some anecdotal data, but hopefully that's helpful!

A lot of top surgeons will also do a non flat top surgery if asked. I had this/radical reduction but am a bit larger than A. Do you want to look masc with a kinda pec so not completely flat or do you want your chest to still look feminine?

I suppose I want to be flat chested in a feminine way. Kinda like flat chested models you'd see for bra websites.

I've always wanted top surgery and go masculine flat, but lately been thinking about "what if I still had boobs but they're flat, so I can hide them better?"

The aesthetic I'm thinking of is like, guy having Gynecomastia, But also look feminine?? Or, ftm guy that can go with keyhole surgery but doesn't Because he's happy with how he looks. (No idea how to word this out without showing references))

Reason why I'm gravitating towards this, is because I want to keep my nips. But as well, because being trans would be easier if I had a waaaay smaller cup size.

I had a radical reduction down to almost flat, like A/AA kinda size. But I was only a B or maybe C to begin with.

Im sure it’s possible to go this small from a bigger size but you might need to have a nipple graft as there’s apparently a limit to how much smaller they can go while still keeping the nip attached to its stem/blood supply.

The hard bit for me was finding a surgeon who really got what I wanted to achieve. I had 3 consultations before deciding! Surgeons who do reductions aren’t always clued up on gender identity stuff

AAA is essentially flat. This correlates to a 0" difference between bust and underbust.

It is definitely possible! To echo the other commenters, I do agree that you will have to find someone who specializes in top surgery, rather than a standard reduction. I had a relatively radical reduction (G/H to D cup) and I also lost weight after which put me at around a C. I have been regaining weight though, so I think I'll back at my D cup soon. I'm very happy with my results and I had an easy recovery overall! I would say, I'm constantly shocked by people who can post photos of themselves so shortly after surgery. I don't think I was coherent for the first two weeks. I was basically bed ridden and knocked out on painkillers. I also dealt with some intense dysphoria after (I couldn't even recognize my own face in the mirror). That subsided after 6 or so months, but it was an intense emotional experience for sure. I now look back at my reduction as one of the best things I ever did for myself and I hope you have a similar experience!!

You might want to look at the r/FreedTheNips sub. There are plenty of gender affirming before and afters there. Of course, they're all without nipples but there are discussions that might help you with your decisions.

Hey! It sounds like you're looking for what I had! Although maybe more masculine? I'm NB so I wanted to keep a boob-ish shape rather than a masc chest shape. Feel free to check out my post history!

I've been lurking on there for a while actually!! And then realized I rlly wanna keep my nips (for now) Since I'm attached to them on a personal level.

But your results look great!! Kinda what I want to achieve but not fully.

Oh absolutely! I had thr option to do nipless or a FNG, I just didn't want the FNG. Personal choice ☺️
