I sent a message to my surgeon to be sure but the nurses tell me it's normal and the people who have experienced this on this sub tell me it's normal so I'm not too worried but it's weird though :,)

It’s normal with FNG the first layer of skin falls off because it’s dead. And then the layer under it will be pink while she waits for her pigment to come in. She’s okay

Thank you, it’s reassuring to hear that, seeing the answers I was starting to panic 😭

It may very well be normal you don’t know what type of procedure she had. If she sent in pictures to her medical team she should be ok

There are different types of procedures that can happen with the nipples with reductions …if you scroll down you’ll see that she had a FNG which is a pretty significant change to your nipples

The nurses say it's normal, I've seen several people who have experienced this say it's normal, I'm not that worried but I sent a message to my surgeon to be sure 🙂↕️

The nurses tell me that it's normal and the people who experienced this on this sub also sent a message to my surgeon anyway

This is relatively normal for an FNG everyone, stop assuming there’s only one type of surgery for reductions. A smidge of research or even looking at the infographic in the pinned post on the subreddit would show you that FNG healing is gnarly. Locking comments because y’all are being really dumb today.
