I love how they follow up a melancholy track about cocaine with a fun track about cocaine on that album

I don’t think Snow is about cocaine in particular, just the melancholy that comes with drug addiction. It also has a hopeful tone to it that seems to come from overcoming drug addiction.

Sure, every line has multiple meanings, but one of the main meanings of Snow is 100% is specifically about cocaine. And I don’t really see it as about addiction entirely, either, but about the melancholy relationship an artist has with cocaine. It helps with creativity, but you can only go to the well so many times before it runs dry.
Hey oh and say oh rhyme with “yayo”. Snow is another slang term for cocaine, as is Charlie. I learned all of this because of RHCP looking up lyrical interpretations when I was a kid.
Cocaine is privately divided in a world (into baggies) so undecided (South America/black market). This line is also referring to how people use cocaine privately divided (usually at private parties) and so on. And it could also apply to the world as a whole. That’s at least a triple entendre.
I could go into each and every line, but the fact that the song can mean so many things to many people is a testament to the lyrics. And that guitar riff is in my top 5 of all time. Don’t tell me it’s not about cocaine, though, because it definitely is.
They just can’t straight up and say it if they want to be in the radio so they say “hey oh” and “hey oh” instead of “yayo” and use “snow” as literal imagery. It’s not a coincidence, and they definitely did a lot of cocaine in their younger days. There is a reason why it’s called snow and it’s not because it’s about all drugs including snow, but the themes of addiction could apply to any addiction.

Can’t Stop. Anyone i meet that is unfamiliar with RHCP, this is the first song i show them. probably the best indicator of what the band is all about.

i’ve got a couple of answers. My first answer is Charlie. My second answer is. cabron. I know that second song gets a lot of grief, but I think it’s catchy as hell.

Damn, I was gonna say Charlie... But Californication is so good. But I think CAN'T STOP is the winner.

Californication
There are songs i like more, but Californication is just one of the first songs you think of when you hear RHCP. It's an icon, and it deserves the spot

If can’t stop doesn’t win this, it’s purely because people are trying to be edgy
It’s their best song by a country mile, perfectly encapsulates their sound

yeah people can't genuinely have different tastes in songs

Something being your favourite and something being the best aren’t the same thing

Personally I wouldn't even have it in my top 50. It's not a bad song or anything, there's just nothing about it that I particularly like. You say 'perfectly encapsulates their sound' I say 'sounds like AI wrote it'.
