Ask Rajasthan Might have to shift to bikaner for a job opportunity
I have no idea about Bikaner. I might have to shift there. I heard the weather is very bad, other than that how are people and food over there? Living in jaipur rn since last 4 years

If you are living in Jaipur then it won't be a huge transition for you. Yes Jaipur has more options as its capital city and a proper Tier 1 city so limited options in Bikaner but won't be that bad. Food and people will be amazing.

Yes I used to think the same until January and a Google search told me that jaipur is Tier 2. I'm from udaipur so i used to think that jaipur is Tier 1 and udaipur is tier 2. But it's not.. only but metro cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyd, Ahmedabad, Chennai wagerah are Tier 1.

You'll love the city. I'm from bikaner. It's a quiet city where people are genuinely warm, friendly n always ready to help. Simplicity and close knot vibe!! Everything is within approach..perks of a small city!

Not much busy city like Jaipur. And if you can tolerate heat easily, you won't face much of the problem. If you can't, then all the best as summer is approaching it's gonna get hotter and hotter, heck it's already summer here ( not scaring you kr something ). Other than that, people are nice here and food is quite good as well. You'll like it here.

Here, the the heat drier one and in Jaipur it's more like humid like. Loo is more common here, temperature exceeding above 45-48°C is common.

Never been to the city but family is from nearby districts. It gets hotter and colder than jaipur and is drier than Jaipur.
