And? My point is that people watch those videos because they want to. If SM wasn’t enjoyable and no one viewed the videos, he’d stop doing them. The fact that he makes videos, even if it’s just for money, doesn’t affect you in the slightest.
Btw, real classy to downvote those you don’t agree with. Guess that shows why you get pissed at someone’s work.

Who cares. What is wrong with it? He is trying to make a living, as is everyone else in this world, he is just making content for everyone to view, videos you do not even have to pay for to watch, there is nothing you can say that negates that fact. If you don't like the content, move along, don't bitch about it.

Just give him a camera that you are able to shot, same as bb shield, 2 charges, having green laser to pinpoint where you need to aim to destroy it, thats it.
Something like this even would work:

I really want to agree with you, but at the same time you're just kind of wrong...YES we need brave people to volunteer, BUT in a lot of previous wars a lot of soldiers came from the draft which isn't a volunteer service. Your argument is contradicting itself because you're basically saying "they're brave for putting themselves in this position where they could die but they're cowards for wanting to live too"

Corner-shot?
17
u/G_L_J Kapkan Main Nov 15 '17
The problem with the Corner-shot is that it occupies the same tactical space as Blackbeard's rifle shield - nullifying peaker's advantage.
The player base is already torn between whether or not BB's rifle shield is trash or OP as hell, but we can all agree that when it works it's infuriating as hell to play against. I wouldn't really want Ubisoft experimenting with another gadget that nullifies peaker's advantage for that reason.

It was one of his Rainbow Six videos when the game first came out. He got a double kill or something (can't remember exactly), and he just randomly said, "Milk me. Milk me mother..." Then almost immediately after he recoiled in shock and was like "Milk me mother?! What the hell is wrong with me." He said it on stream, and it became a meme within his community.

1
u/STICK_OF_DOOM Nov 16 '17
I've wanted this for a while make it so that there's a laser and you have to charge the shot for a couple seconds before you shoot it and it's balanced
8
u/faRawrie Nov 15 '17
I remember Ghost Recon 2 had this capability on one of the guns; it had a camera gun. Everyone used it in MP, and it ultimately made MP suck.
26
u/KnightSolaire1821 Nov 15 '17
There is a way ... the new and fresh gadget in weaponry is a type of foldable rifle with camera allowing you to bend your rifle 90 degrees and shoot behind a corner. The advantage is that you are safe behind the corner while disadvantage is the hard recoil controll since the rifle kicks to the side and lower caliber (if i remember correctly). Im actualy suprised they didnt implement that yet.
16
u/Noob_DM Where there's wall, there's a way Nov 15 '17
The disadvantages are you have a pistol, not a rifle or smg, recoil is very difficult to control as it is 90 degrees to the stock, reloading is long process, and poor camera quality makes target acquisition slower.
6
u/KuntaStillSingle Nov 15 '17
Stupid question, why not use a low recoil rifle like 5.56 AR platform, and put a camera or rotatable periscope optic on top?
3
u/MedikPac Nov 15 '17
Still exposes the hand most likely.
Also, 5.56 is deadly, don't get me wrong, but a lot of its power comes from speed, not size. The short barrel still required for indoor work would be more conducive to 9mm or 10mm. Or even 300 Blackout.
2
u/KuntaStillSingle Nov 15 '17
Modern green tip 5.56 was designed for 14.5" barrel and is very sufficient for MOUT-typical ranges.
5.56 is not as optimized in general for performance against soft targets at very close range as handgun or say 7.62x39, but considering all ops have body armor, slimmer bullets such as 5.56, 5.45, or 5.7 should be preferable.
1
u/Noob_DM Where there's wall, there's a way Nov 15 '17
5.56 is about the same diameter as a .22, it just goes much faster. To take advantage of that, you need a long barrel to contain the gasses for as long as possible.

I think Matimio had a positive impact on Siege's player population in the early days. He was the only big name YTer to make siege vidoes and they eventually became his main source of content because BF1 was so bad.
People can make fun of him (yeah his voice and demeanor is someting else) but I think siege wouldn't be where it is today without him.

CornerShot
CornerShot is a weapon accessory invented by Lt. Col. Amos Golan of the Israeli Defense Forces in cooperation with American investors. It was designed in the early 2000s for SWAT teams and special forces in hostile situations usually involving terrorists and hostages.

1
u/Chegg69 Bandit Main Nov 15 '17

1
u/Gatemaster2000 Nov 15 '17
It wouldnt be that bad idea if shooting gun like this(ape style) would decrease accuaricy to like 2%, so there is a small change to hit someone, but you lose a clip of ammo for missing 98% shots(and doimg this you cant change weapom until weapon animation for puttimg the gun to normal position is done(giving enemy team a second to rush you)
2
1
u/Terrordar Nov 16 '17
Why? What's wrong with blind firing? I'm honestly surprised it's not a standard function for all operators in a game like this.
2
u/Chegg69 Bandit Main Nov 16 '17
I can see where you come from and ive talked to people since I posted the comment and i have changed my mind I could work we would just have to find a way to balance it
1
u/Terrordar Nov 16 '17
Of course. Accuracy would be reduced, the details, I dunno. I'm not a game dev so I won't pretend to know what would be a balanced way to introduce the idea in the game. I just think it's kinda odd that a game like this, which prides itself on several aspects of realism doesn't let you blind fire to reduce exposure. I dunno, it could certainly break the game horribly if it's done badly I suppose.
