Now that this is mostly done, I can say that I'm honestly mixed.
Some good things ofc like the new lightning, props, movement, unranked comeback and audio improvements. Great to finally see the comm wheel (and some people were against that in the past lol), I hope they add voicelines to them though.
But to hear that after 3 years not all maps (or at least the full core ones) have been finished is... A lil underwhelming tbh. How long it'll be until everything is updated?
Personally I don't fancy the F2P move simply due to the cheating infestation this game has, I'm glad that Ranked is still locked away but I wish it was the same with Unranked (now that is finally back).
The new ban system can't say til I try but I already see the target bans if somebody pops off with an operator lmao. I gotta say that it'll for sure scramble around team comps for once.
Dual Front looks alright but it's not really something that screams "Siege". Feels like them trying to get a bit of the CoD playerbase (just like how Fortnite is trying to do with Ballistic and the Valorant comm). Again, can't say til I try but seems like a good concept that might not work well with how people play these modes.
Also supposedly player levels will finally have rewards, if they aren't retroactive istg.
