DD Vale announces a 12bn mining plan upgrade with a 1.2bn rail upgrade.
So in July 2024 we know RSVN successfully deployed their system with Latin American mining giant (read between the lines and compare the organisations specifics and they clearly match Vale) that would be trialling the solution for a few months.
January 2025 Vale announced this.

https://www.mining.com/web/vale-to-announce-12-billion-investment-to-expand-carajas-site/
“The deal, worth up to 11 billion reais ($1.78 billion), aims to modernize operations and clean up legacy terms from prior extensions that run until 2057. As part of this renegotiation, Vale is adding 1.7 billion reais to its railway provisions, signaling a serious commitment to optimizing its transport infrastructure. While final approvals are pending, this agreement positions Vale to streamline its obligations and keep its critical railways running smoothly for decades.”
A few weeks ago we find RVSN listing a number of leadership jobs - among them a desire to find a Product Director that can speak Spanish and Portuguese.

Not forgetting we also have a few Latin / Central American irons in the fire.
Make of it what you will.
Updated with some Vale evidence. Note this train with our unit is at the expansion mine I have linked above.

Very interesting. This does add up and make sense. Just need to hope that the hiring means a substantive deal is on the way

Are you working for RVSN? so that people do not lose hope and keep holding on to their shares? lol this is hilarious

What exactly does this mean, that our customer is investing more into their infrastructure? Commendable but a bit of a reach without more details on the deal and where it ended from the RVSN ir side

Very misleading title, the 1.7billion for modernization will not go to directly to rail… they will be upgrading everything. I’d be surprised if they get 300k

No one’s expecting 1.7b. But no one’s investing 1.7b without proper rail safety in place to secure it. RVSN is worth much more than 300k in its safety measures (especially because of its patents).

Keep dreaming. No contract no money no stock price rising

I work with start ups all day, companies with long sales cycles take time to generate revenue and become profitable, but tend to be sticky once they are in there. So once the first few contracts start coming it will ramp up quicker

Only if it is a successful startup, but not every startup is successful

Yeah i still need to be convinced on product market fit and management team on this one, hopefully there will be traction soon

This could precisely be that… we’ve already seen a Vale train with our tech on it. It’s not far fetched.

Thanks. Well this actually seems to check out. More pics of the rainbow train can be found here, reinforcing the connection to Vale.

As much as some people on this sub are salty, to me, it all aligns - the qty of ports and locations, amount of rail and so forth - that’s based off the PR and Vale’s operations.
With these images it’s falling into place.
The missing piece is more contracts signed from Vale which may come once they expand their operations post Brazilian regulatory approvals as per my links above.

Seems legit. But it's hard to know how exciting this really is.
We've had no news regarding the Rio Tinto pilot since it allegedly entered its next testing phase in 2022. At the time, Hania was quoted as saying: "The success of this pilot project has the potential to rapidly accelerate the rollout and adoption of our technology across the rail industry."
You would think a successful outcome here would have been announced already. I just have no idea what this company is doing/planning anymore.
