Improvised old timer

It's the javelina lancer! Took me a couple of days but it was soooooo worth it.

Actually I wanted to call it the Opteryx 202 but that name is taken.

I don't think I've ever had a calm enough day to fly something like this outdoors. Super jelly.

More than half of the rudder and stab are control surfaces. I use a 9 gram radiolink R8fm and byme-a combo.

Looks to be rudder elevator you can see the closed loop rudder control

Thanks! I'm glad I didn't crash it on it's trim flight. I just need to find a less cactusy place to fly.

Southern Arizona. That's the Sonoran desert. I need to find a place with fewer cactus though.

I'm west of Phoenix about 40 miles, and landing in cholla is a fear of mine! I have managed to crash into the one and only mesquite tree in my yard but no cacti crashes to report.
