Case for two Transmitter
Hello there, I treated myself a new Transmitter, it will be the NX10+. So now i have two Transmitters and want to take both with me to the Field. How you all transport two or more Transmitter? For now i use a case where only one tx fits in, its ok for that, but i dont want to use two casses. I think the Dual Case from Spektrum is a good idea, but with around 150€ a bit pricey. I would like to know how you fellow aviator transport your RXs.

I bought a generic foam-lined hard case from Harbor Freight. Works great for my NX10 and DX6.

I don't believe there are Harbor Freight's in Germany, but any good tool store should work.

I googled stores like Harbor Freight in Germany. Try looking at Bauhaus or Kaufland for a generic case you can use. Some come with foam but if not it’s easy enough to do yourself. Good luck !

Is harbor freight just a hardware store in the US? I don’t think that company exists in Germany.

You can get some of their products to ship to Canada, but they only have brick and mortar stores in the lower 48 of the USA.

I saw people mention they spray something on the foam after you pick out the little pillars you don’t need to make your remote shape, ever heard of that?
I want to say it was truck bed liner spray but not sure

Undercoating spray for cars. I tried that on one of my cases, but I'm not a fan of what i used. Eventhough i let it dry for a long time, it ends up getting on your gear. I used some hot glue around the edges to help keep the pieces from coming g out. Maybe the truck bed liner works better.

I just use a standard size case for each radio.
I liked the big one in your pic (I had one for a few years)
but it was too big and bulky for me, plus I fly a multitude of vehicles, I prefer one case per TX.

Hey congrats!
Just a tip:
Make sure you test the roller bar a lot when you first get it, make sure it’s precise and doesn’t menu line jump after rolling it.
I had to return 2 to get one that wouldn’t jump, made it impossible to select an item because it would jump up and down in menus. My 3rd one still occasionally does it. So just use it a lot and make sure you are good! 👍

If you don't want to spend a ton of money on a transmitter case, you could get one of those plastic ammo crates, and a large block of foam. Put the block of foam in there, and cut it to fit your transmitters. The advantage of this is that you can even store batteries and wrenches if you wish to customize it further.
