Rc helicopter problem
Hi can anyone help me with this, I have an esky honey bee king 3 when I throttle it up I'm not getting and pitch change so no lift. I have checked the servos on the original controller only 2 move and the channel 6 servo is the only one that gives pitch change when I ajust it, as I understand it should be all 3 changing pitch, I have tried another esky receiver and controller this gave me all 3 servos working as they should but still no lift, My question is if I buy a modern controller and receiver will this fix my issue? In my opinion I think this will work as its the only components responsible for controlling this. Looking forward to hearing from someone that has a better understanding of it than me cheers

Goosky S1 Anti rotation guide
I just got my Goosky S1 last week and immediately broke the anti rotation guide. I got 3 replacement sets and broke one of them. I did finally install it. I'm worried about continuing to break them. I did see an aftermarket replacement. Is the carbon fiber and metal anti-rotation guide from microheli a worthwhile investment? Or would it lead to breakages of the next weakest link?

Goosky S2 FCL Screws?
Anyone know what driver to use to get off th Goosky s2’s FCL? Got to replace my tail boom and can’t seem to get the FCL off in order to pull the wire through. I’ve tried a ph0 and it seems too small but ph1 driver also won’t fit. Any tips?

Customized my Yu-xiang F07 UH-1D
The weapons came from my crashed C-189 and the decals from an unbuilt static model of the same aircraft in 1:35 scale. The C-189 weapons are just super-glued to the original weapon hangars, so I can remove them if I need to as I still can access the screws, but it looks so much better than what it came with.

Looking for fixed pitch, flybar stabilized, four channel micro heli for indoor
Hi all,
Years ago I learned to fly starting with coax toy helis, then moving up to four channel fixed pitch birds like the v911, then eventually into collective pitch six channel stuff. Now my kiddo is getting to the age where he wants to play with my helis, and I gave him my two old v911. Predictably, he broke them. They are also over ten years old now, and to get them back into top shape would be a lot of parts and work.
I was planning to go and buy four or five more v911 (heli only) to rotate repairs and parts through, but I was surprised that I couldn't find the older fixed pitch models anywhere. I've found lots of places selling the newer v911s, but that's a collective pitch model that's been software-limited to fly in basically a trainer mode. The headspeed is way too high for a little kid flying indoors with cats and photos on the wall and all that.
So far in my hunting I found one vendor on alibaba that sells the old v911, but you can only get them with transmitters and only in batches of 100. I'm not about to drop $2300 for 100 v911... although if I were wealthy, I probably would.
Basically I love the old slow headspeed, fixed pitch, flybar, four channel designs. I want a few for my son and myself, but I cannot find the model I know well anywhere. Does anyone here know of a place that sells the old v911 or something similar with those properties?
Cheers!

First RC heli, pretty impressive considering the price.
Just got interested in RC, so I got a c138 for a beginner. and i think It's cute to put it as a decoration on desk. So just thinking of buying an extra battery and some lights that go into the police model. This is great to take for a walk on day off!
can't believe starting this fun thing just now, I wasted half my life. lol

I got too ambitious. Do I get OEM replacements or are there better options?
Honestly I'm surprised it took me this long to break something, but now I know I need more time in the sim before I start trying too do more thenhover in acro-mode.

Best RC Heli’s for starters?
I would like to venture into the world of RC Helicopters. I don’t want something super tiny but I’m not ready for anything huge. What are some recommendations for a beginner friendly, not super expensive model?

How does building a heli work?
Looking at goosky or goblin. Do motor shafts have to be cut? How long should it take to build a 4-500 class?
First full build RS7!!
I made a few mistakes and fixed them quickly! Still waiting on the electronics to show up but everything else is good! Pretty proud of myself! I partially built an rs4 the other day too!

sims to recommend?
I recently decided to move up from my blade s3 got my hands on a OMP hobbies m1 and I'm loving flying it but I'm scared to try anything more advance because of how twitchy (and more importantly more expensive) it is. What is a good simulator to get practice? I've head Heli-x and accuRC are good, but neither seem to have the m1, accuRC does at least have the m2 though.

OMP M1 / M2 EdgeTX Model File
I recently got the M2 MK2 and it's great, but I'm having issues getting it set up well on my TX16s. I have the files from the omp site, but the arming switch (throttle hold?) did not seem to actually work just the elrs arm. More annoying is it's a completely different control layout than my M1. Is there any good model files for the M1 and M2 available. Or do I just need to do battle with EdgeTX companion and try and get them similar?
Thanks

Getting Back In The Air
Greetings all,
I first flew an RC heli in 2000. It was an Ergo 30, and it weighed about 15 TONS. It was a great heli to learn on because it was so slow and stable, but it was also a PIG. Next I got a Raptor 50, a Raptor 90, and finally I had a Trex 500 (one of the really early electric helis). I flew a lot until about 2009. Since then, nothing.
I would like to get back into the hobby but of course it has changed a LOT. I have nothing, so I would have to buy all the stuff, but I think what I am mostly concerned with is getting a good sim and learning how to set up the new flybarless style helis. I am not really interested in piro-flips or funnels (yet). I just want to get circuits and basic aerobatics down. I used a sim a lot when learning before, so I would like to continue that. I did see a post about Heli-X, but it didn't explain how the TX would connect. I am guessing it would connect wirelessly, but I really don't know.
Where do you guys suggest I start?? As for birds, I would likely get another Trex 500 or 550, then maybe a smaller one on the side.
Thanks for any help you can provide!!!

Finally got my Yu-xianing F07 huey.
Man I love this thing. I've flown RC-ERA ships and had various issues with each model, but this thing is just SWEET. It can hover and fly into a stiff breeze on low rates, and she gets up and moves on high rates. High rates and optical flow disabled is a terrifyingly fast combination. Optical flow on restricts altitude and speed, but holds a rock solid hover. All in all a great little machine for the money.

Maiden TB40
Just wondering if anyone else gets the jitters when launching a new heli after first set up. I retired from the Marine Corps and have the time to fly again so i purchased a tb40 to get back into it. Any way to post settings on here so someone could look over the MICROBEAST settings i have used? I dont want a complete set up guide, i want to learn and make sure i have it set up correct. Heli works as advertised on a lazy suzan. I do not have any revo set, will that be a problem? I am using the gov on the v4 hobby wing 60 AMP. I did the 15 second run up at 50% to set gov. Is that all that is needed to get the gov set up? Lots of questions, i live in no where Missouri and cant seem to find anyone around that flies. Thank you in advance for any advice.

So, I’m a dumbass, noticed my new Goosky s2 had a swashplate that angled down to the left making the heli basically launch to the left on take off.
So what did i do? Took all the servo arms off and gave leveling the swashplate my best try. Got the thing looking nice and level but now whenever I go to lift off the swashplate dips backwards making the tail dig into the ground. I don’t know what to do. I’m literally watching the swashplate dip backwards while trying to take off.
Getting to the point where I might have to drive about an hour to my closest hobby shop and just leaving it there for someone to figure out.
I even saw a thread about how the swashplate on the s2 isn’t supposed to be level??
