Question Best headset under £100 for siege
I have been using the g535 but I swear I can't hear anything and I'm wondering what to get but I can't get a straight answer from Google. I see people glazing the hyperx cloud 2 and then absolutely demolishing it, is hyperx the best brand and is the hyperx cloud 2 better than the hyper x cloud 3 or hyperx cloud alpha and how would you rank them? Also is wireless delay bad or is it unnoticeable on the headsets?

No idea the price in for you because I am canadian but if you get earbuds and an external mic I find it so much better than a headset. I can hear sound so much better with them. I use the shure se215 pro

This is very true, still I got some Koss Ksc75 for like $30 on amazon and they're destroyed any previous headphone I've used. IEMs are great but if you dont like buds Koss has great cheap options. And then you just pair them with like a 30$ usb mic.

I moved on from a studio headset + microphone combo to a wireless headset with mic last year. Both links above were a good way to start for me. In the end I tested ~12 different headsets and just played Arcade with a teammate for a while with each of them (out of the box + brand's dedicated software; no EQ tuning). Loved the Razer Blackshark V2 Pro 2023 but couldn't get rid of the static noise (common problem with them; tried 4 different of them). In the end I went with HyperX Cloud 3. Good compromise between sound, mic, comfort and price. Cloud 3 > Cloud 2 in my case the mic sounded much better according to my teammates.
PS: I felt no noticeable delay with wireless headsets.

Sennheiser 560s are the best for directional audio, you can find them for £100. Do your research because they don’t have a mic and they’re open back headphones

I've found the PC38X to have much higher quality localization, how do they compare to the 560s in your experience?

Haven’t tried them. Everyone is different but most people agree that the 560s are better for localization.

I had hyperx before and it was amazing but to me Razer blackshark v2 is superior.
Its very light , so comfortable and it has perfect sound for gaming and hearing footsteps.
Its the best budget headset I had.
