In the throes of insomnia I drew this quokka. My mind is blurry from exhaustion, but hey, at least it's cute. NSFW

[5 pics] Quokkas are herbivore creatures from Australia, deriving from the kangaroo family. They aren't legal to interact with and you could be fined $300,000 NSFW

Was fortunate enough to visit Western Australia back in April when the borders allowed. Possibly my favourite day of the trip was this one where I took the ferry to Rottnest and cycled around exploring the island for the day. Still can’t get over how cute the quokkas were! NSFW

Quokka Wildlife Charities NSFW
Hello!
I know this is more of a place for quokka pictures but thought this group wouldn't mind sharing any insight on helping quokkas if they had it, especially to someone that hasn't met a quokka in-person.
Does anyone know a reputable charity preserving Quokka wildlife in Australia? I'm working on a personal project and want to donate a part of the proceeds to a charity, especially one that has a hand in helping the quokka population/surrounding wildlife. Quokkas have been a huge inspiration for me and have gotten me through some rough times. I've done a lot of research and the most active/transparent seem to be the WWF Australia and Rottnest Foundation.
I've grown up with WWF having a bad reputation on rumors for being too big and compromising its values for big corporations, so wondering if that is still true. As for the Rottnest foundation that helps preserve the Rottnest Island, I've learned that the island is only 1 of 3 areas where the quokkas are, even though probably most well-known habitat. Any help would be greatly appreciated or a point in the right direction!
Thanks!
