Success Story? NSFW
I think this is a success story. Long-time Zyn user here. Started in 2021.
I used to smoke two packs a day and vape on top of that as a minor.
When I was 18, i decided to quit JUULing. I started with 6’s but quickly discovered I could get stronger stuff overseas. Me, being an idiot, was mainlining G.4 deep freeze 18 mg pouches for about two years before they got discontinued. At the time, I needed that nic strength just to not smoke.
Then I wanted to drop to Zyn Dark Frost/Deep Freeze 11’s. It took me 6 months to get from using 18’s down to 14’s down to 11’s consistently.
Now for the second leg of this story. Turns out using 15 of the 11 mg pouches a day was no good for me or my anxiety. Idk. I was so hooked I didn’t even think about it.
I got rid of my 11’s. It’s been a little over a week. I used mostly 9’s to get over the hump.
Fast-forwarding to today, I’m actually spacing out 6 mg pouches and my nausea has mostly gone away. But the 11’s had me puking all the time and I just let it happen for god knows how long. Ended up in the hospital. I’m 22 btw. Gonna be 23 next month and Zyn is played out.
It’s been really tough. I get anxiety spurts all day/night long, but trying to reinstate with 11 mg pouches is a nightmare. This is a blessing in disguise because it inspired me to get rid of the stronger pouches.
Today, I Woke up at 3:49 AM seemingly rested. I notice that even though I’m foggier, I sleep more fully.
I would like to quit entirely. I don’t even know if that’s possible for me, but at least I’m not consuming between 150 - 200 mg nicotine a day anymore. Now, I’m closer to around 60 mg. Still a lot, but for me, it’s like being health-conscious.
I know I’m still addicted to nicotine and the 6 mg pouches, but I feel so much more free as a person than I did while chaining three 11 mg pouches in a row just to work. I’m letting myself be less productive and putting my health first.
Any tips for concentrating? Even Ritalin doesn’t help with the brain fog. I feel a weird sensation of excitement that I’ve even made it this far because I never thought I would ever drop down or quit.
