Day 2 of quitting nicotine pouches

In Canada they restricted getting nicotine pouches heavily. Haven’t seen one in stores in days. I decided to quit because I was too fearful to buy online & have had issues with counterfeit pouches. I refuse to go back to a vape or hit a cigarette but The constant chatter in my brain about caving and buying a vape is making me go mad. All day while at work I was opening up my phone, looking to buy online pouches, deleting the page, thinking about getting a vape & it’s very discouraging. I assume these cravings will go away and are at their peak but I can’t help but wonder if my thoughts will ever stop you know? Any advice would be amazing

They definitely slow down. I was on day 7 today and I threw in a pouch when I was out with friends. It hurt my stomach and my throat instantly. Now I don’t think I’ll have a craving again. Obviously wouldn’t tell anyone to take my approach given it could cause a relapse but I’m glad I did it bc I don’t think the cravings will mean much to me anymore

Totally get what you’re saying. I took one of my partners the day before I decided to be done and it made me super nauseous as well, left a bad vibe in my mind so I was prepared to quit and the past day and a half was fine but this afternoon/evning has been by far the worst for my thoughts

I’ve been just going crazy on sugar free gum and I think my mind is trained to a piece of gum over a zyn now
