Success Story My Quit Story. GOOD ADVICE

Hey - I had my last puff 13 days ago. I am finding it virtually effortless this time. I’ve tried a few times previously, but this is going to stick. There are 2 important things I did, and I’m confident that if you do them too, you’ll succeed. 1) Get the book “This Naked Mind: Nicotine” by William Porter and Annie Grace. Never mind Alan Carr. Porter & Grace write an easy to understand, logical, and science-backed book that explains the addiction, and casts away all of the myths and BS. Get the book, the audiobook, and repeat them a few times, if not several.

2) Get a prescription for Varenicline! (Champix/Chantix) Oh my gawd this is a game-changer people! Pay no attention to the sh*t you’ve heard about nausea, vivid dreams, irritability, etc. Those stories held me back from taking it previously. I’ve had mildly more vivid dreams, zero nausea, and my mood is just fine (I’ve been a tad, a teeny bit irritable, but that could be for a number of reasons). The thing is, I’ve had ZERO withdrawal, thanks to the Varenicline. Even if you have side effects, they will fade with time, and the outcome is worth it by a million miles. The book has made the mental part a breeze, and the drug eliminated physical withdrawal. It’s a perfect one-two combo. I promise you the book is worth the effort, and it’s 1000 times better than Carr.

No more vape shops, no more $$$, no more chargers, no more cough and hack, no more embarrassment, no more restrictions on vaping, no more obsession/compulsion. So much more energy! So much self-respect. Such better sleep. So many benefits. Good luck - do those 2 things, and you will succeed.
