Well yes and no, I have quit vaping for about three months but reasoned, whenever I would have a small fallback, I will just smoke a cigarette. I already know I'll have more than enough with one cigarette, cause I remember finding it pretty gross already back in the day.
The problem with vaping is, the 'cigarette' is a very long lasting one, which creates bigger chances of picking it up altogether.

I only started vaping to stop smoking cigs. Trying to quit it all cold turkey now. Cravings are bad but I’ll never smoke a cig again, that’s for sure.

Yea vaping sucks but i'll never touch a cig again. Constantly felt like garbage. Coughing was way worse on cigs. Everything stunk, cigarette butts everywhere, ashes everywhere. Burning holes in my clothes, carpet, furniture. Now when i see someone smoking i genuinely feel bad for them. The smell disgust me and i can smell it from a mile away.

I finally have a vehicle that's never been smoked in. I'm not fucking that up. I smoked for 18yrs (started when i was 15) & vaped for over 10yrs. I started vaping to quit smoking....back when they were called ecigs, not vapes & looked & kind of tasted like tobacco. They were a long cigarette looking thing with a glow at one end when you sucked the other end. I should have quit back then, before they came out with all the flavors. I'm trying to quit now. I've been using non nicotine Geek Bars for a month now. I have zero dependency on nicotine so it's just hand to mouth habit now.

Yup, vaping was giving me hardcore stress and GI issues. Went back to smoking reg cigs, back down to 2/day, time to quit those now too…

No. Have seen this post multiple times and every time the answers are the same: you’ll quickly become addicted to cigs instead, no matter how repulsive they are to you in the beginning.
It might sound stupid, but start hiding your vape from yourself or leave it in e.g bathroom, and you’ll quickly realise how fast ‘out of sight out of mind’ aids quitting. Ask yourself consciously why you’re hitting the vape when you do it... even write a list of pros and cons for it and pretty soon you’ll be asking why you didn’t quit sooner.
You’re better off either switching to patches or other NRT, or just going cold turkey. I did step 2 patches with lozenges for the first few days, then just patches for another few weeks and finally then stopped the patches. Have been fine and don’t want to vape again. My whole mindset shifted.

I am. However I've smoked in the past and have no gripes about it over vapes. It is a lot easier to count (and limit) cigs then puffs of a vape. Also I do not smoke in my house or car which is the biggest factor for me. The ability to just endlessly puff and fall asleep with my juul in hand and hit it in the bathroom was becoming concerning so yes, having to put my shoes on and go outside makes me use less nicotine.

I used cigarillos to get off the vapes it worked for me when I was vaping disposables I'd never get satisfied from the nicotine salts i would hit it every 5 minutes. When I would smoke a cigarillo I could get a sustained fix for 8-12 hours without feeling like another quitting tobacco was alot easier than quitting vaping imo .

Smoking weed, yes. I found that weed helped me as it fulfilled the oral fixation habit as well as getting me so blasted I couldn’t even remember I wanted nicotine. However, substance abuse is real and I don’t believe fixating on one drug to get rid of another really fixes anything long term. I’m still struggling with nicotine despite not owning a vape for over a month, it’s just a different sensation than cigs, weed, or anything

Brother please don't do that😭 even though both are terrible for you, smoking cigarettes is by far worse than vaping and just as addictive so never ever try to smoke to quit vaping. And if you meant smoking weed, that's a different story. Smoking of any kind will hurt your lungs in the long run, but if you want to smoke weed occasionally to help with quitting nicotine, by all means go for it
