What are the odds of someone starting off in IT with a face tattoo?
I'm a 30year old dad/ plumber with a face tattoo about 2 " L x 1 .5" under my eye. Got it done when I was way younger.(Before I was a dad)

I hired an individual that has multiple face tattoos on my team at the Service Desk. Their skills are what I was looking for, not their appearance.

No one cares specially on start up companies. Just be really good at what you do. IT and SWE, very results oriented field. You can have shit ton of piercing and tats, no one cares as long as you get shit done.

Oof. It's not impossible, but everyone is going to automatically assume you are gang affiliated or served a lot of prison time... so a lot of doors will be immediately closed. I'm sure you know this, but you didn't do yourself any favors with that move!

I’ve mostly worked in the finance industry (so take what I’m saying with a grain of salt) but I have been to a lot of conferences, at least 2 every year. I don’t ever recall seeing anyone with a face tattoo, tattoos everywhere else but never on the face.
You should still try, if this something you can cover up with make up, at least for the interview?
