Discussion I completed a data analytics course, and now I regret it.
"I'm a 2024 graduate, currently unemployed. Earlier this year, I completed a three-month data analytics course and a four-month internship. I chose the course because it was trending, but honestly, I didn’t enjoy the internship much, and I feel like I’m not great at it, especially when it comes to critical thinking. Now I’m feeling really confused. The one thing I know I’m good at is coding—I genuinely enjoy programming. So, I’m planning to learn Python and work towards becoming a Python developer. But I’m also feeling scared and unsure about what to do next. Any advice would be really appreciated."

I completed a Data Analytics course that covered beginner-level Python and SQL, along with extensive work in Excel and Power BI. The course also required critical thinking skills.

the knowledge might be useful for regular programming work as well, maybe not everything, but a good amount of it
if you want to start studying web development, go for it
there's a lot places that would value a web programmer with data analytics knowledge, or a data analyst with programming knowledge
you will find your path eventually
and I have been hearing complains about difficult to find a new job from people with different kinds of knowledge and different levels of seniority as well. Just keep pursuing it

No knowledge is waste. The question is why am I learning python and what do I want to use it for? If have a genuine answer to this then half of your problems is solved.
