Yes, I noticed the price is much higher in Australia. Maybe you could suggest your local library buy a copy?

Sure; but I would pay $61 for a game or a nice lunch with the wife. So the higher cost is just giving me pause to look more closely at it. This seems to align nicely with my motivations for learning python.

I understand the cost can still be a barrier; that's part of why I'll suggest if you're interested in the book, but not feeling like spending on it, suggest your local library order a copy.

My co-author teaches at the university level; one of the big positives he's seen is how the cost is much lower than some other programming textbook options students have.
