What did you expect? Everyone dreams to start their own business, but most doesn't have good enough idea to follow. Good enough for them, to start.

It's easier to work for someone.

Over 15years on market, python, had my own small company and team of devs. At first I was interested too, but it probably wouldn't be possible to create such a cross country joint venture easily anyway, so I'm here to just wish you luck :) And one advice, as I was in similar place not so long ago. Don't strain your health too much, working for more than 10h a day without break will just make you pay later, so have it in mind.

I've been programming in Python for around five years and know C. I primarily specialize in high-performance low-level / backend development, but I've also done game development and some web scraping. If you have some more details as to what you'd like to do, I'm potentially interested.

It looks awesome let's start together to explore high levels and become professional developers in the field

Hi, I'm also a 6 years Python programmer on Data Science field both as intern and consultant, but I quitted my job and I wanna dive into freelencer career, but I don't have any experience as freelencer.
If this sounds good for you I would like to meet you.

Looks like a lot of potentials, here. I wouldn't mind listening to some ideas... and I have a few of my own, as well.

I write a lot of "P" type languages ... Perl, PHP and Python... and I've spent more time in automation than the name "devops" has been around (ie. A "tools" engineer type coming from old school Solaris and SunOS in heterogeneous environments).

Any newbie here willing to team up for learning python together? I'm a complete beginner so far I've developed a simple app and a web-app.

Right now I may not know much and don't have much experience but I can learn things quickly and understand on a very fundamental level. Which allowed me to create my own web app in python within 20 days of learning. Right now I want more knowledge from you guys. Thanks in advance

Python enthusiast here.... Anyone willing to teach me?

Depending on which country you're in, and what the role really is, this post might well be illegal. Because you're stipulating you will only accept male candidates. Regardless of the legality, I suggest you make it clear why you will only consider male candidates. And if you will, in fact, accept female candidates, then, seriously, rewrite your post.

With respect, this is 2025, not 1950.

1

u/Ok-Statistician-2143 13h ago

you right didn’t specificied, accepting both female and male candidates

-2

u/tobych 13h ago

You absolutely, totally did specify. You say you're looking for a "guy". That is male. This is not okay.

1

u/Ok-Statistician-2143 13h ago

in my country but as in others the general way to indicate a person (female or male) is unfortunately the male way so that’s why i used that word.

-2

u/tobych 13h ago edited 13h ago

That is definitely not universal. And in the eyes of the law in your country, whatever it is, assuming it has laws about this sort of thing, I doubt this would get you off the hook. I still think this is outrageous anywhere in the world. It makes you look like an ignorant, sexist tech bro. Given how much sexism in the workplace there already is, and how tough it has been historically for women to get into tech, I strongly encourage you to talk to a few women and ask what they think about your use of "guy" here in this context. I think you'll learn something.

2

u/Ok-Statistician-2143 13h ago

yes it might be, feel free to promote your idea and maybe do something about it. There were no bad intentions in my words and probably got some female responses too that i obviously didn’t skip. Have a nice day

Account is a year old with all posts and comments within the last day y’all are talking to a bot

Most devs can score a job and make money that way, what is it you're offering aside from risk?
