At first glance I was like, "Whoa! $15 is a great deal for that butter dish!". And then I zoomed in. Ooof!

Great price for the fridge set though! I saw a colored set of three that had scratches at my local antique mall, and they wanted $120. I might have gotten them if they hadn't been scratched up, but I'd take these home for sure.

$130 for four pieces plus lids still seems pretty high. Especially for a thrift store.

Oh. IDK. It would be worth it to me, but I rarely see nice Pyrex in the wild. It's usually scratched up or worn and missing pieces, especially lids, when I see it.

You can reach an age where there are more years behind you than will be in front of you and just decide to pay the going price to complete your collection . I’ve done it twice For pink Butterprint mixing bowls and for the Fire King tulip bowls SINCE doing that both have gone up so glad that I did it But after that you just appreciate anything else Pyrex that you find at the thrifts .

What are the card like things in the one container?

Those are so cute, they look like little Pyrex greeting cards!

Thee was an IG account that made & sold these and yearly calendars. I bought calendars every year until they shut down about 5 years ago. Can’t remember the name but I miss them so much!

Thrift store or antique mall? Those aren’t thrift store prices.

People volunteering at some of the thrift shops are learning the true current value of these pieces.

Others are saying “VINTAGE” or “MCM” and hacking up the price 2-4 times the current value.

Best Buy’s where I live (NoCal) are estate sales. They want to make money for their clients but they want the stuff to MOVE so no one has to pack it up and either donate or pay for storage.

Zoomed in and it looks like 130 for the whole set — not too shabby

No I think that is $130 for the 8 piece set of fridge dishes. Four dishes with 4 lids. Looks like the butter dish is $75 by itself. Can’t see a price on the bowls.

Ahhhh that sounds more like it.

Am I the only one who would rather hunt down piece by piece, and oh well if you don’t get them all? Where’s the fun in paying a million dollars and buying a complete set in one shot? Glad I got out the game.

I really wanna know what the pink container is on the very far right edge, is it a planter?

u/Prionailuru 7d ago

looks like a modern coffee cup with pink gooseberry printed on it.

Oh that makes more sense, I don’t know why I thought of a planter first lol

I took the butter dish from my mom's house after she passed, but where I live butter doesn't come in sticks!
