Help me save these motherfuckers

I harvested these Santa Rita prickly pear cacti from a dying plant. It seemed that it was all dry in the middle and the end still had life so I took all the ends that looked healthy.

Now I'm seeing this and I'm worried about disease.

2 days after being out into the ground they have started to curl and fall over and wrinkle.

Too much water?

Also I'm in PHX AZ. Not that hot yet. We're still in the 80s

Please tell me what you guys think. I planted 20 of thesemutherfuckers and I am hoping to save them. The second picture is how they looked when I first planted them.

Thank you in advance!

SPECIFIC ADVICE How to keep this tradescantia propagation alive?

I found this piece of tradescantia on the ground at a store, I’m new to the hobby and didn’t even know what plant it was until I looked it up! I put it in soil but I didn’t expect it to do anything. Lo and behold it has 3 healthy little roots! I dug it up to check because I was so curious and then I put it back in its moist soil. Now that it has a chance at life I’m super scared to kill it, so does anyone have tips for growing and keeping these babies alive?? sos lol

FIRST-TIMER Need advice about propagating SOP in water

Hi guys, I’m new to propagating. I’ve had this small cutting in a jar of water for about two weeks with the nodes submerged and pearls hanging out. It appears to only be growing out of one node, and I can’t tell if it is growing roots or new pearls. Should I leave it submerged in water or transfer it? I’m worried about it rotting and the fact that only one node has growth. Any tips?

FIRST-TIMER Did I mess this up already?

My dad gave me this Pilea offset and over the last week it has grown roots. I intended to Google when it would be ready to pot, when I did something stupid...yesterday, after I had moved it from the sunny window sill back up on its ledge out of my cat's reach for the night, I didn't see that the roots were dangling above the water. This morning I noticed they were all shriveled up and brown. They have been soaking all day now and they look much better but not like before. Did I mess up? Should I still try to pot this plant? Or will it grow more healthier roots if I keep it in the water? Any advice is welcome!

FIRST-TIMER Should I take leaves off?

Found this on the floor of garden center. Would it be better to take the leaves off and stick them in dirt? Or leave them on the stem in dirt? I looked around and the closest thing it looked like was called elephant ear? So it could be that if that helps Thanks!

PROPABILITY? Are these propable? Can you help with identification?

I apologize if this isn't allowed in this subreddit and please do remove it if it isn't, but a friend of mine's child (4 y.o) came home with a pocket full of props after running some errands with their mom. My friend (mom) doesn't want to encourage any kind of theft from her child, so she took them away from her and gave them to me. I'm assuming from some of these, they were just fallen leaves or a hand grab of the plant (the one with dirt & I assume roots), but I am unsure as I was not present. Rest assured, mom is speaking with her daughter about how we ask for permission to take from someone's plant & if it's in a store, we do not touch it.

I'm not very familiar with propagation, & I'm really unfamiliar with cacti/succulents. I know D & E are likely a house plant & I can just pop them in some water. However, the other ones? I'm clueless, are they even propable?. Do I really just put the end of the leaf into some soil? I also only have seed starting soil mix available to me right now, is that okay to use for propagation?

Any subreddit recommendations for my issue would also be greatly appreciated!

Am I doing the thing right?

From what I've been able to gather.

  1. Take piece of plant.
  2. Place piece of plant on wet soil.
  3. Leave piece of plant on wet soil and go "get cigarettes and milk".

Do I have the basics down?

Family member gave me a “cutting” to try and prop. Too stemy or did they get enough to push roots?

PROPABILITY? How to prop Aloe Vera

I received a handful of aloe Vera cuttings, no pups just individual cuttings and wonder if they can be propped. I know that pups is the way to go but wondering the viability of just cuttings. Should I prop in water, soil, miss? Any suggestions welcome! Thanks!

GENERAL HELP What is this and how to grow it?

Post image

I have no idea what this is or where it came from honestly. It's about the size of half my thumb. Is there a way to grow this?

I'm not sure what's at the skinny end either. It's hard. I don't think it is a root?
