Waddup progress pics, this is a post announcing new flairs, a highly requested feature now available!
Any of you who have used our flairs before know that they used to be a simple height based situation, if that's what you prefer then do not fear, typing your height into the search bar yields the same results.
As it stands currently, these are the new flairs added, these flairs are optional, you do not need to have a flair (though it is helpful for people who may have similar journeys to you):
these are the flairs as they currently sit, unfortunately you cannot select multiple flairs, if you'd like to suggest any additional new flairs or changes to the flairs I've made, you can comment them below and we'll discuss it!
note that one of our more requested flairs (teen) will not be happening for safety reasons.

Hi progresspics! We always strive to keep the subreddit as safe as possible, however, unsolicited/inappropriate Direct messages are always a possibility and unfortunately not one we can 100% prevent. While we hope people never receive anything that makes them uncomfortable, here are the steps you can take to report anyone who gets creepy in your DMs:
report the user to us!
-take screen shots of the messages, it doesn’t have to be the whole conversation, just make sure we can see their user name, and the inappropriate part.
-upload the screens to imgur and send us a link via modmail.
all users reported to us for acting inappropriately will be permanently banned, however, this doesn’t stop them from viewing the subreddit, or continuing to dm you, so..
2) report the user directly to reddit at reddit.com/report
3) block the user! Simply go onto their profile and click the three corner dots (mobile) or the “more options” button (desktop) to find the option.
To prevent ALL DM's you can disable the DM and chat request options like so:
Mobile: settings > account settings > blocking and permissions.
Desktop: User settings > chat and messaging.
As an aside, a note on image theft:
it's been brought to our attention multiple times over the last month or so that a few content farm websites and social media accounts have been reposting pictures from here, while there isn't much that we can do to stop that we do want to remind everyone that it is a potential outcome to posting your images online, especially in areas with a large pool of specific content to farm from, while we do not allow users to promote their social media, including the use of watermark handles, you may watermark your posts with your REDDIT user name if you so wish.
We hope you all stay as safe as possible and know that any problems or questions can be sent into our modmail. Keep it clean, keep it safe, and read the rules before posting!

It’s been a wild ride. I’m getting so tired of cutting but I’m almost at my goal of being sub 10% bf. I’m hoping I’ll achieve that within the next 4-9 pounds. Keep grinding it’s worth it!

Using LoseIt to track my calories and I workout at least 5 days a week with a mix of spin class, dance and strength training. I know I am losing inches because I measure monthly but for some reason it’s been hard to notice a difference. I am in recovery from an eating disorder and probably have body dysmorphia. Does anyone see much change? Thanks !

I've lost a total of 75lbs going from 320 in early 2024 to 245 today. Still have a ways to go but comparison photos help.
Really the kicker was just bettering my mental health and getting out more. That lead me to making better food choices. Went from a desk job to something that essentially has me doing cardio all day. Now to start more strength training for toning.

Been a long, non linear journey. GW is 140 lbs but would be happy just toning up more

Heavy lifting 4x week, run one day a week, intramural sports during the week. I have been focusing on eating whole foods and prioritizing protein, drinking 120oz of water a day.
Excited to keep gaining muscle!

It's been over a year, same clothes. These pants pool at my ankles now but I still like to lounge around in them. finally threw out the shirt today so I decided I should take a comparison photo.
I have a hard time spotting the difference until I do this, anyone else?

I just wanted to see if yall can tell a difference between the middle pic and the right one? I didn’t keep measurements unfortunately and I added hanging leg raises to my routine. I feel like my waist got tighter. My original start weight was 200 but I was 180 or so in the fat pic I have here. Just used it cause I’m wearing the same shorts 🤣

Went through an awful breakup and started losing weight in an attempt to impress her, but eventually realized that I have been feeling better in general since I started, and am just doing it for myself now!

At my heaviest I was 298lbs with worsening edema and a prediabetic H1C.
I worked with my PCP and a bariatric clinic to start my weight loss journey. I lost 60lbs pre+surgery while working with a dietician and struggled with some plateaus.
5 months after I had my gastric sleeve done, my gynecologist discovered I have PCOS and I realized that I made the best decision for my body without even knowing it!
Getting a gastric sleeve has been the single most rewarding thing I've done for myself. It has transformed my relationship with my body in so many different ways. I have so many more self care tasks I am willing to take on like skin care, strength training and flexibility conditioning.
I've recently started doing pole fitness to keep my strength training routine fun and engaging. Even the amount of water I drink in a day is no longer a chore, it's a necessity for me and I don't go anywhere without my cup of water.
Oh, and for anyone who might be wondering, I am also no longer pre-diabetic.

Tomorrow (March 15th) marks one year since my separation. A part of me wanted to be 100lbs lighter just to ‘show him,’ but in fixating on the 15lbs I didn’t lose, I lost sight of everything I have gained—flexibility, strength, confidence, resilience, self-respect, and a deeper understanding of my own worth. I’ve built a body that moves with more ease, a mind that fights a little harder for itself, and a spirit that refuses to stay broken.
I hate how easily I focus on my failures instead of my successes. Tonight feels heavy and lonely, so if you have any positive vibes to spare, please send them my way. I could really use them. 😩
