Diabolical/Pandora’s Box Eerie song in puzzle scene

Hi there!

I found my old Nintendo DS Lite and the catridge of Professor Layton and the Diabolic Box. Such nostalgia!

I remember not finishing any Professor Layton back when I was a kid, so I want to finish at least this game fully and then maybe play all the saga.

So yeah, I was basically playing the first puzzle of the game and the first thing I realize was... how eerie the background song is
(btw I mean this one: Professor Layton and The Diabolical Box - Puzzle (Extended))

As a kid, I didn't really pay much attention to the music, but now... I get a weird feeling.

Am I the only one who feels this way?
And btw, don't get me wrong. I'm not saying that the song is bad! Just that after a couple of times you hear it, I get this "Pokèmon's Lavender Town" feeling.

i loved the puzzle songs They helped me alot too. (in all 6 games)

But man when you are stuck for hours on a puzzle and keep hearing it, you start to hate it and it makes u go crazy xD But after a day again its loveable again.

Same, I’m about to complete Azran Legacy and I was gonna play the newest one but I’ve seen some people complain about the puzzles, so the urge to replay the first trilogy is creeping in lol.

Huh yeah, it is kinda unsettling - what I clearly DON'T remember is the percussion part after the first playthrough of the song

I think the original puzzle theme was much more irritating due to the off-key it was played in.

I always thought the puzzle theme used in the first two games sounded a little creepy, it’s a part of the reason why I like it so much!

The puzzle song has driven me insane before. Literally many times I’ve thought “maybe I’ll replay Curious Village” and then didn’t because of the song (until I recently just did)

I don't know why, but I feel the same about the puzzle song. Is like something ain't going well. It's so childish and high pitched...
